Rewind: Queen Evez Coronation

(Year 232, Fall) It's time for another rewind! This is a photo taken in Year 179 at Queen Evez' coronation. That is 53 years ago and mainly the children are still alive. The photo is currently on the wall in the Throne Room at the Royal Palace.

Let's see who were present, and also look for fun facts regarding their lives and connections, like two of the children are actually married today.

From the Throne Room at the Royal Palace Chateau Peak. Click image for a bigger version.

When Queen Evez got crowned, she had already married Lord Clempus Ross of House of Ross, son of the Duke of Rossie. They had two sons, Tarriot and Blaise. All four are centered on this photo. Crown Prince Tarriot got the Crown when Queen Evez died suddenly in Year 198.

Prince Blaise married Ms Duella Druemann, who is actually the blond girl in a pink dress. Duella, her older brother Alberthin, and their parents Wendice and High Judge Marquis Druemann, were family, as Mrs Wenice was Evez' cousin, all hailing from the House of Luxe-Hamper which held the Tredony county. This again gives that Prince Blaise and Miss Duella were 2nd cousins, a relation which is not a problem regarding marriage.

Also Crown Prince Tarriot should marry a 2nd cousin; namely Miss Venezia Mandrake hailing from the Tartosa barony. So many members of today's Royal Family can trace their roots back to Tartosa, which will now be in the same Region 3 as Del Sol Valley, where the Royal Palace is located.

The other two young girls are Princess Aleccandra and Princess Hortenzia, later to be known as the scandal "Party Princesses". When they caused the bigger scandals as teenagers, Queen Evez stripped their highness from their royal titles, meaning they are no longer HH, but still princesses and members of the Royal Family. Both settled in Tartosa, Aleccandra married Queen Venezia's brother, the current Baron of Tartosa, but had no children. Hortenzia married a descendant from the formerly royal House de Froux, nowadays better known for their nectar. They had two children, and this household recently moved to Chestnut Ridge. The princesses are no longer invited to formal events at the palace, but we know that King Tarriot and Queen Venezia try to keep a certain contact with them.

Prince Barris and Princess Astoria, both long gone, were the scandal princesses' parents. Prince Barris was the brother of Queen Evez, and the uncle of King Tarriot.

There is a blond boy standing all to the left. This ought to be Dave Luxe-Hamper, later taking the family name Luxe-Honey. His parents are Mr Amagon Luxe-Hamper, standing right behind him, and the blond Annabella H. Luxe-Hamper, from House of Honeydew.

The elderly woman sitting is Dowager Countess Eliza de Tredony, formerly married to her cousin Count Bernadine. He was not the real Count de Tredony, but used the title while his older brother, King Tybe, accepted the Crown. This is why he was succeeded by Prince Millam and not his own son, Mr Amagon Luxe-Hamper. Eliza was of the now extinct House of Brixerwood, and her family could be traced back to the 1st Baron of Gloom, 1st Duke von Windenburg, 1st Baron of Gibbs, as well as a line of the Luxe-Hamper clan leading back to the 1st Count de Tredony.

The young man standing between Princess Winnie and Mrs. Annabell H. Luxe-Hamper, is a young teenage version of today's Prince Jerome, also known as Count de Tredony. He is son of Princess Winnie and Prince Millam. His younger brother, Prince Ace, was less than 2 years old at the time of the phot and is not featured. Prince Jerome is today close to King Tarriot, not only because of being his cousin, but he is also the highest ranked Peer of Region 3, knight of the High Order of the Baltazar, and also knight of the Highest Royal Order, making him a life long member of the Royal Chamber. Aside of King Tarriot, who is leading the Royal Chamber, Prince Jerome is the only member of the Royal Family who is on the Royal Chamber. He is married to Malcolm Landgraab's cousin, Countess Bequeenie, residiing in Tartosa, having two sons, both just about young adults but not yet settled by their own.

Finally, we also ought to mention House de Floretti. On the right side we see Mr Scarus Floretti and Mrs Whilma L-H. Floretti. Mrs Whilma was cousin to Queen Evez. Scarus and Whilma had one daughter, Dora Floretti, who was just an infant at the time of this picture and who is not a member of the Royal Family anyway. Mr Floretti's niece, though, grew up to marry to Crown Prince Tarriot, and is today known as Queen Venezia...
