Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Flock People Memorial Day

(Year 232, Fall) Imagine a group of green skinned gnomes, just slightly shorter than a sim, living their happy lives in the Willow forest. Then, the local timber industry cuts down the forest, turning the field into farm land, and these green creatures have nowhere to hide. Where could they escape?

This took place at Willow Field in Gloomville exactly 100 years ago. The mythical Flock People, also referred to as Glee, were chased from their natural habitat.

This year the Flock People Memorial Day is celebrated for the 100th time, and a festival takes place at Willow Field. Although the day is hosted annual by a group of local enthusiasts, a greater event finds place only every 25th year.

Edith Mox, a local who is among very few residents who might have seen a member of the Flock People, is the manager of this year's festival. She resides at Glee Abode, a house that her mother, Ochana Mox, got from winning the "Sims by Numbers" show long ago.

- With the 1st prize, my mother also won a secret diary project, Edith explains. - When she completed the project, it was passed on to me. During one phase of it all, we visited a secluded place called Glade, not far from here, where we happened to observe a glimpse of what might have been a living member of the Flock People. The observation lasted only for a few seconds, the creation was an expert in hiding. I still see it as a proof of their existence.

Edith Mox will not tell more about the diary project or whether she still has it or did pas it on already. But she has been deeply involved with Flock People Memorial Day ever since.

- I feel more people ought to learn about the injustice against the Glee. The Willow forest will never return, but we can at least share the memory and feel the bad coinfidence. If there was a way to help the Flock People, and to secure their existence, I want to help with that. Our little group of enthusiasts can probably make adifference.

The festival starts this Friday, and lasts for the entire weekend. The many myths regarding the Flock People have reached far outside Gloomville, and scientists, top politicians and even a member from the Royal Family will attend. The recent discovery will of course be a central part of the festival programme. Mox' flower stand will temporarily serve "Willow tree soup" and there will be several guided tours to the area where the willow forest used to be.

Edit Mox was guesting the Simmerville Show (#7).
