(Year 232, Winter) The wealthiest man of Mazaloom kingdom is not the King, and not even of high nobility. It is of course Mr Malcolm Landgraab Lord Cacti (79) who is not getting any younger by the years. He will have to pass on his wealth eventually, and unless he decides to involve specific heirs according to a not yet known testament, his 3 sons, twins Buffrey and Geophold (13) and Ruperty (8) will share the extreme fortune of more than §8,000,000. Although Landgraab Science Lab is known for experimenting with and modifying lifeforms, there is probably no way yet to add years to an old man's life - not even if he can pay generously.
So, why did Malcolm put up such a funny facial expression? Well, recently was the teen birthday of the twins. They are his oldest sons and if there will be one favored heir, it is likely to be one of them. They had planned to celebrate this event at their private vacation home in Sulany, but it got too tricky due to the youngest being in boarding school at Evergreen Harbor.

Randomly generated appearance is not always meeting for the Landgraab standards... |
Becoming a teenager is a milestone in these circles. Now their skills and grade will make a huge difference, personality values are to be developed, and relations must be built. Years of playing around have ended, now it all gets serious!
Mr Malcolm Landgraab is still with good health. There will be several years before he needs to prepare his final testament. He holds no peerage, but the Mester Cacti title inherited from his late father, Geoffrey. Geoffrey Landgraab was the unlegit son of Princess Ann Caramelle, of the now extinct House von Donnersmalt. So, the heritage is impressive although most of the fortune can be traced back to late Nancy Landgraab and her ancestors. The family background might secure the Landgraab sons taking one step up in the noble society.
Bringing minimum §1,350,000 will open a few doors...
