Winner announced: Mazaloom Achievement Award Year 232

(Year 232, Winter) For the second time the Mazaloom Achievement Award was given to a resident who reached the top level of a skill. Last year jazz singer Olivia Clump was the very first to be honored. Speculations have been flying all over this year, because there are so many candidates. Media has been assuming that certain criteria would not repeat two following years, especially not this early in the routine. So, it was expected that this year's honoree would not be female, not from Newcrest, and not being awarded for Cooking, Painting or Singing skills.

Crown Princess Emireza and Count Vladislaus IV Straud met at the graveyard.

Yesterday, in the very early morning hour, HRH Crown Princess Emireza met up at the Henford-on-Bagley graveyard - location and hour picked by the winner, to hand out this year's award. And, the press was there, too!

The Mazaloom Achievement Award Year 232 goes to Count Vladislaus Straud (65)!

Crown Princess Emireza announced the winner:
- This resident has maxed a skill that not so many of us practice, the Pipe organ. He plays the old instrument brilliantly, unfortunately mostly at home where he practice every night. With the Mazaloom Achievement Award of Year 232 we all hope that Mr Straud will consider giving a few concerts to please us all!

The Count, who confused the press as they never had heard of his peerage before, was shy but finally took the word:
- Thank you, reaching the top level of my favorite instrument has given me so much joy for hundreds... tens of years. I never play publicly, because I don't love the churches, where most of the public pipe organs are placed. This diploma will decorate my wall and thrill me for eternity... a few decades. Thank you!

Mr Straud was awarded for his amazing Pipe Organ skills.

One journalist asked why the winner uses a Count title that they never heard about, but then Mr Straud suddenly left the graveyard.

This year's winner was indeed not among the expected candidates. Some even wondered how the RPO (Royal Palace Office) could accept a winner using a false title, or maybe a false identity, even. It's her royal highness who administrates this award, but someone else must have been involved? And why the Henford-on-Bagley graveyard? The press left with more questions than answers.
