Gossips #14

(Year 232, Winter) I'm back with he 14th issue of my wonderful gossips column! Welcome!

This time I tried to restrict myself, but you get a lengthy read anyway! Rest assured there are juicy stuff waiting - including the nude photo of a mature princess! You might notice that I will no longer use each district name for the heading graphics, instead we'll just have one graphic for each region. And - if you are like me, you are quite fed up with those eight regional numbers, so in the future I'll just stick with the regions' names. This issue will be the last where those numbers are included in the text - we got so much more important stuff to focus on than numbers, right!

So, let's get started with the royal family!

In case you did not already know, Royal Family is a term used for all princes and princesses along with the monarch and monarch's consort, of course - the King and Queen. Princes and princesses are children of a present or past monarch - or of princes. A princess' spouse and children normally get no such style. There are royal highness (HRH) and just highness (HH), depending on how close they are to the monarch they descend from. This stops with the HH prince - his spouse and children normally don't get styled at all and are therefore formally not seen as members of the Royal Family. The style is normally life long, and decided by the Monarch, who might be a bit more generous if the Royal Family counts rather few members. They need to be enough persons to tend to their expected duties. The current count is quite high, so we should expect King Tarriot to follow the norm in most cases.

In my previous issue I reported that King Tarriot (64) and Queen Venezia (56) had been observed entering the Lawyer office in Oasis Springs.

Rumors suggested that it was all about Queen Venezia being pale and ill, which might have triggered some testamentary changes. Royal Palace Office has not yet commented on this rumor, and we have not observed Her Royal Highness officially this Winter. We are quite nervous, but trust that there would be some public information if this was health related.

This Summer we saw the 15th Queen Evez Championship. HRH Crown Princess Emireza (21) participated with one of the horses staying at Queen's Stables in Newcrest.

The Crown Princess performed decently but did not come top 3. Her exact placing is not known.

However, several online communities have expressed some worries that the crown princess looked quite skinny. Commentators tried to find a genetic excuse by looking back. Her mother, Queen Venezia, was never as skinny, and it's hard to tell if this is caused by genes from King Tarriot's family, as he has no sisters, only one brother, HRH Prince Royal Blaise (61).

CP Emireza is still a student in Windenburg.

Recently she was observed in Copperdale, dancing with a mysterious boy. Only she wore a school uniform, so we do not know if he might be another student. We want to know his full name and background, please! Were they actually dating?

Final gossip regarding central members of the Royal Family is HRH Prince Cecil (17).

He is a student at Summerfield High, same private boarding school as his older siblings Emireza and Bazil. King Tarriot has been criticized for sending top 3 of the successors to the Crown to the same school. Their youngest brother, HRH Prince Marcuz is a student in Advorton, though, the opposite end of our nation. Prince Cecil is reported to study hard, but there is no information on his results yet.

While in Windenburg, let's stay in Windenburg!

Windenburg is together with Granite Falls, Region 1. The Windenburg dukedom is among the very oldest peerages of the kingdom, and Windenburg's history goes all the way back to the beginning of our community. Did you know that this district's oldest and largest farm, Wind Farm, used to be where we find today's Oldtown?

Duke Merlin (80) and Duchess Mandy (46) have a solid position in the local community, not the least thanks to their amazing love story 5 children ago. Duchess Mandy hails from Oasis Springs and was a commoner, which is never a good thing for a dukedom, but she has been well adapted.

However, the fact that she attended the Queen Evez Championship alone started a wave of worries on the web. Duke Merlin recently turned 80 and is not getting any younger, and locals have started speculating in the dukedom's future. Is he already too old to attend equestrian contests? The five children are still minors, meaning that Duchess Mandy - practically coming from nothing, might be appointed head of them all! Will the people of Windenburg turn their back to her when the duke is gone? The duchess has not yet responded to my inquiry.

A local that is very pro Aristocracy is Mrs Mila Munch (78). She is a commoner, too, but was knighted for the High Order of the Golden Lion this year, which gives her the benefit of being styled as Mrs. This is not affecting her three sons, though.

Mrs. Munch got her medal at the Royal Court few weeks ago, and so did Grand Marshal Robert Calves (Advorton) and High Priest Ansgar Profedius (Windenburg).

Now for a mystery creature who someone photographed at the Bowling Cup earlier this year!

What at first glance looks like a normal attendee, looks freaking scary when zoomed in! Is that make-up or a zombie? I have not yet succeeded in finding where this person resides, but some suggested they had observed her in Windenburg. If you see her, let me know!

Now on to Region 2 Rossie!

Rossie has two districts, Britechester and Henford-on-Bagley. Recently a secluded community named Hollow requested to get district status, too, but was turned down by People Chamber. Hollow will still be administrated under Henford-on-Bagley.

Britechester is known for its universities, and many aristocratic Houses send their grown ups there to study.

Two interesting new students this Fall were HH Princess Evendice (26, from Britechester) and Mr Robin Hump (25, from Henford-on-Bagley). They are now staying at Maritime Manor at Foxbury, owned by Rossie dukedom. Evendice and Robin are not related, and it remains to find out if they are actually a couple! This is where Crown Princess Emireza is expected to stay during her University studies, expected to start in 4 years.

Another new student, residing at Mossy Lane dorm, is Lady Corva Saxor (26) from San Myshuno. She has grown into an attractive young woman, and I can't wait to see some romances during her dorm years! She was formerly connected to Baron Rainert of Myshuno, but now that his barony lost it's high nobility status, he is no longer worthy of a duke's daughter.

Lady Corva is the only child of Duke Victus (58) and Duchess Gloria (76) of Meadows, and as she can not succeed to the dukedom as a female, there are a few worries that the dukedom might wander to another family branch or a different House, even. However, if Corva gives birth to a legit son, he might be allowed to inherit his grandfather's peerage, if Corva is still alive when the day of succession occurs. That's a lot of weight on a lady's shoulders!

Now, let's jump over to the region where the Royal Palace is:

Tredony is also referred to as Region 3, and from this Spring it covers the districts Del Sol Valley, Tredony, and Tartosa.

In Del Sol Valley we find 2 of the nation's many private high schools, and the traditional Butler Academy is one of them.

Butler Academy is very popular with aristocracy. There are old traditions where Houses should send their youngest child to this academy, in order to learn to serve a higher ranked House. But these days also older children of Peers are among the students - they simply learn how to run a top notch household. Even when you hire servants, you need some knowledge about subjects like gourmet cooking and nectar making, or simply how to address other persons based on their rank.

Every year Principal Abraham Golden (70) takes a photo with the graduating students. This Summer it was the mentioned Lady Corva Saxor who got her diploma. She will obviously not aim for a Butler career, but she might serve the Royal Palace a few years while she looks for Mr Right. Ahem - the palace might actually be a superb arena for such a hunt - we've got no less than 3 young princes there!

Now some bowling?

At the first ever Bowling Cup arranged, celebrity Suzi "Sushi" Stench (42) was among the contenders. She did not win, but is a dedicated member of the Bowling club. Rumors have it that the other contenders were annoyed that she attracted fans, disturbing the contest, so this might have been  her first and last cup.

Anyway, Suzi recently married HH Prince Ace (55), and they are currently busy building a family at Mirage Park. Suzi was not granted a Princess title (because Prince Ace has the lowest prince rank), but because Ace is also Baron de Portefino, Suzi can now be titled Baroness Suzi de Portefino. How about that? She has said that she is not that much into royalty, which might be explained by her coming from a farming family of Tomarang in the Empire of Snorthia.

Some more familiar faces?

This year Goldie Ruthfield's (84) only daughter Gerda (37) married. Goldie is often referred to as the mother of all superstars, as she founded G.R.A.N. Talent Agency decades ago, a company now lead by Gerda.

Gerda's fresh husband is Abhrin Wusha (61), a Politician supporting the RIGHT party, formerly active in San Myshuno. The new wed couple took over Goldie's flat at Starlight Boulevard, while Goldie moved into a smaller flat next door. Mother and daughter Ruthfield guested the Simmerville Show #6 (Youtube).

Can we stop by Del Sol Valley without some Judith Ward gossips? No, we can not!

I might have shocking news regarding Judith's baby birth at a private clinic in Winderburg couple years back. It seems that her version of the story is not the only one...

But for this issue, let's just mention the rumor that Judith Ward is hooked on Bowling! Who would have expected that? After helping bringing some attention to both herself and the opening of a Gloomville bowling arena, she decided to open her own bowling arena in Del Sol Valley. It's said that the arena was already built, but the access is restricted as only celebrities will gain access. On my direct request, Judith says there will be a massive opening event this Spring. I can't wait! If I am celebrity enough...

Next, jumping over to the Crafthole region!

Region 4 Crafthole covers the districts Copperdale and Moonwood Mill, and will be joined by district Glimmerbrook this Spring. Crafthole Councilor is named Roger Lockerbud (63), and keeps office at the Recreation Center at Prescott Square. He represents the RIGHT party.

Lockerbud won the Bowling Cup. Renting a flat from the bowling club leader Bill Loffertop (People Chamber Politiciand representing LEFT party) obviously paid off. The two pals have spent many nights practicing bowling, despite needing to travel to Gloomville for the nearest arena.

My sources now reveals that Lockerbud might be in a romantic relation with Mei Prescott (54), former Principal at the Copperdale High. This has not been confirmed.

Now, we're heading to the city!

Not much gossips from San Myshino today. So, let's take some time to reflect over the big changes coming to this city, politically. San Myshuno is still part of the huge Region 12 Mazaloom, but come Year 233 (in one week) they will break out to form Region 5 San Myshuno. It's part of the Regional Reform where the goal is to make the 8 regions more equal population wise. The southern district, Oasis Springs, already joined Advorton, and when San Myshuno breaks out, also Del Sol Valley will leave for Region 3 Tredony, administratively. What remains from old Region 12 will form Region 8 Gloom.

The new Region 5 San Myshuno will be interesting not the least because it is home to numerous Politicians, who previously were restricted by representing the larger Region 12. San Myshuno will now get more seats of People Chamber. Prome district is home to the Council House and People Chamber. Myshuno district is traditionally the base of the LEFT party, and district Meadows (southern part of the city) is home to several RIGHT party Politicians. At the next election, in two years, each of the 3 districts will elect their Mayor, and one of those Mayors will become the San Myshuno Councilor. We never had these details in this city before. Because Myshuno has a higher population than Meadows, experts agree that this might benefit the LEFT party.

One popular LEFT Politician is the current Spice Market Hood Contact Polly Peters (57). She has been fronting underpaid workers for many years already. Last week she was observed at the Gloomville Hospital, being examined by Dr. Valeria Phlum. Let's hope it is nothing that can not be cured...

As far south as possible we find Region 6 Aarbyville.

This is the only region with only one district, San Sequoia. Debaters suggested that Aarbyville could merge with Tredony, and geographically that would make sense. But because it was harder to keep 8 regions without splitting San Myshuno, Aarbyville was left alone. It goes well with their history, because they used to be reigned by pirates and was the last area to eventually approve on Mazaloom kingdom.

San Sequoia has one of the busiest Recreation Centers. Each region is required to have one center, but the services differ quite a bit.

Also some of the celebrities have discovered the Recreation Centers. Last week Thorne Bailey (52) stopped by to pose, causing all activities on the house to stop. He was in San Sequoia to give a concert at the Museum of Classical Music (Aarby Wharf). His music can hardly be described as classical, but I guess he had the money it takes to convince the owner of the arena, Duke Vibrattore de Aarbyville.

The arena is among Mazaloom kingdom's biggest, and with a breathtaking view to the ocean forming the backdrop of the stage.

How about Advorton?

Their lucky number is 7, and Region 7 covers districts Ciudad Enamorada, Chestnut Ridge, Oasis Springs, and StrangerVille that recently was approved district status.

And this is where we come to the naked princess - a sight that can not be unseen...

House de Froux recently sold their home in Tartosa and moved to Hauxham Ranch at Rider's Glen in Chestnut Ridge. Different regions, but not really very far. They traditionally focused on nectar making, and the new address seems a bit more spacious.

One night a neighbor was walking the goat while observing a naked person showering in the rain outside. It turns out to be Princess Hortenzia (58)! Still a member of the Royal Family, despite being stripped for her HH style as one of the Scandal Princesses, decades ago. Her older sister, Princess Aleccandra (63) still resides in Tartosa.

Only one more region to go...

Region 8 Gloom is the new name of the remainders of old Region 12 Mazaloom. Gloom covers districts Gloomville, Newcrest, Brindleton Bay, and Evergreen Harbor, which up to now was administrated as one hood under Gloomville. Evergreen Harbor and StrangerVille are the only new districts of the kingdom, both recently approved.

The bigger news these days is that Cavalier dukedom finally had their heir - congratulations! Lord Merquess Bendel Leophold de Cavalier was born to Duke Charlopold (41) and Duchess Luna (41).

There was a press release already. What was not mentioned, but that I happily observed, is that their purple urn is back in the grand hall of Chateau Cavalier. You can see most of it behind the duke's waving hand. This is said to be the ashes of the 1st duke de Cavalier, a man named Clauss who hailed from House of Ross, in Rossie. The urn was locked off in the ball room ever since Duke Charlopold's investiture gala dinner several years ago.

Finally, this year's oldest bride and groom:

They stirred up quite the scandal when they announced their engagement this Summer, and married shortly after. Miss Paula Ching Mester Mugger (86) from Gloomville and Baron Floyd of Emp (94).from Ciudad Enamorada. The two families tried to protest as the marriage will affect their heritage, and it now turns out that the couple already had their formal testaments adjusted! Nobody will know the exact consequences until one of them dies, but it will probably mean that the one dying last will bring at least 50% of the other's fortune to their own heirs. Baron Floyd has only one son, who through these changes might inherit only half of what he was planning for. Unless his stepmother dies first...

Life is not fair guys! Not even to aristocracy! So, play nice and stay tuned for my next Gossips issue where I am pretty sure I will have lots more info on the Judith Ward case!
