Nordhaven is blooming!

(Year 234, Spring) This blog was contacted by Adriana Hyde, a local of Nordhaven, region Windenburg. In the past they were administrated by Windenburg, but now that Norhaven got district status, they will elect their very first Mayor. This happens a little less than a year ahead, meaning the political parties had a deadline for Nordhaven candidates on this Nomination Day. Just like all the other districts.

List of candidates are normally not made public untill Fall, but Adriana Hyde (59) obviously could not wait that long. It's early days. Her candidature is not official yet, neither is it confirmed by her party.

- I had to let everyone know that I will be the favored candidate of the RIGHT party, she announced. - I am fully aware that they need to confirm these things, but I really don't see how they should not support me all the way. I should be their number one pick!

I also need to inform everyone that Nordhaven is indeed a blooming community! We have the businesses, we have the history, and thanks Similius we also have the Hyde family!  The King even owns a nice estate here. There was so much nonsens suggesting that Nordhaven was hardly organizeed enough to achieve the district status, but truth is we were a full scale district for generations, we just did not care about the district status. Why should we?

Our only challenge is that we are located far north. Joining national politics will require moving or at least lots of traveling. If I get asked to take the Prime Minister position, which I think I could solve brilliantly and with ease, I would of course consider moving farther south in order to serve the entire nation. Absolutely!

Nordhaven has many features and generations of experience on several community aspects. We will be happy to assist the development of other districts by sharing some of our grand knowledge. My father founded my house, and his father again, Jekyll Hyde, was a very active citizen, too! Our family was involved with most development taking place at Iverstad for the past three generations, if not longer!

Adriana is married for the 2nd time, having a 3 years old daughter.

- A child will not stop me from becoming Nordhaven's first Mayor! Neither will the Hyggeloth family, I suspect they might be on some list, too, LEFT party, probably, but let me tell you they can not serve our community the way that I can. Hyde is a MUCH better choice than Hyggeloth, any day at all!
