Grand Opening at new «Club High-Ho»

(Year 234, Fall) Last night there was a huge celebration in Newcrest, as the «Club High-Ho» reopened. The club's status as the nation's most important jazz arena goes a long way back when it was just a tiny stage at a simple bar, but wgere a jazz legend like Olivia Clump built her career. The new club was greatly upscaled, and arised as a multi purpose culture house.

The house was full for the grand opening party, and several celebrities were naturally invited. Such as the since long retired Olivia (81), pictured above. She arrived with her older brother, August Clump (83), visiting from Gloomville. He lead a Musician career as well back in the days, but chose Country music over jazz. Olivia did not reveal whether she would have a role during this opening night.

Another couple receiving the wows, was the jazz singer Olla Jones (55). She only has one record out, but is enjoying quite the successful year being this year's touring artist signed with High Note. She arrived with her husband, Cato Wuller.

The couple resides at Magnolia Promenade in Prome district, and Cato Wuller (59) is not only the RIGHT party's candidate for Prome Mayor, he is also on the party's core group, meaning he is likely to get a seat of People Chamber regardless of the upcoming election. Olla, who had already started building her career befre the two met, chose to keep her maiden name. She was nervous for her mini concert later on.

Well, the house was full and the opening was on! Up there, toping them all, suddenly Olivia appeared on a small balcony that nobody had noticed, right above the main bar. What a perfect spot for the sars to make their entrance!

Olivia welcomed each and everyone. She was sorry that she can no longer sing, but assured them that the jazz music is still kept warm in her heart. She then told a few episodes from the original Club High-Ho next door, where she debuted as a young woman, many years ago.

It was then announced that Olivia was actually the guest of honor for this night, and that the club has a dedicated lounge upstairs that will carry Olivia's name forever. Many of her recording posters can be admired there.

The night prolonged with mingling, drinking and smalltalk. Various jazz music was played from the speakers, and several celebrities were spotted throughout the night.

Actress Venessa Jeong (46) happens to be married to Olivia's son, Garvin Clump (48). He is also a Musician, although he never achieved the fame of his mother.

Another star was observed, but she did not seem to like the lack of attention...

In the backround sits Global star and Actress Judith Ward (70). Those not knowing Judith would easily think that she stayed away from cameras to keep the fact that she recently entered the eløderly life stage. Well, with all the photographers attending this event, that would not even be possible. Teleobjectives will capture it all, Judith!

Olla was introduced, and her mini gig was on. She performed 3 of her most popular songs.

... while the guest of honor looked more busy with a papparazzi attack than with Olla's performance.

Olla might become the next big jazz artist. Her «Yuma» tour is coming to an end. There will be a concert here at Club High-Ho next week, then in Windenburg this Winter.

This is currently the 2nd most important culture house of Mazaloom, only Fun Factory at Magnolia Promenade is busier. Club High-Ho is here to stay!
