(Year 234, Fall) House von Kaching, residing in Gloomville, region Gloom, has today announced that their relative, Paula (Ching) Altham, Baroness of Emp, is dead at 88. She leaves behind widower, Baron Floyd of Emp (96).
Most of her adult life she was known as Paula Ching Mester Mugger, residing in Sim City (SimNation). Later she returned to Gloomville and only two years ago she married to Baron Floyd of Emp, of House of Altham.
The couple settled at Bon Voyage Retirement Home in Gloomville and shocked relatives on both sides when writing new testaments benefiting the other part at the cost of their existing family. It meant that those already seeing themselves as main heirs would lose up to 50% to the new spouse.
Paula had no children, but would leave her considerable values to the two children of her late brother, Baron Bud of Gloom. They are the current Baron Edward of Gloom, and Mrs Aili (von Kaching) Landgraab. Now that the new testament probably benefits Hoiuse of Altham instead, Edward and Aili should expect way less than before the surprise wedding. House von Kaching did protest to the wedding as Paula was good for at least 5 times more than her new spouse. Now, the Althams are indeed the great winners!
Floyd Altham, who is only the uncle of the Count of Advorton, has a son from his first marriage, Victor Fabe Altham (53), Baron de Aarby. Victor Fabe will now benefit greatly from the death of Paula. There is no reason to believe he is not his father's future main heir, and he will now get additional values that previously connected to House von Kaching, perhaps including 50% of the shares in a family company.

| Paula Ching Mester Mugger & Baron Floyd of Emp, Year 232. |
Paula Ching was known for being eccentric and often talking before thinking. For many years she was not really accepted by her older brother, Bud, so maybe this can all be seen as faith's backfire.
According to peerage rules, Paula's low nobility title, Mester Mugger, will be inherited by her nephew Edward. Her House of Ching goes extinct with her, as she had no children.
Testament reading takes place this Winter, but we don't see the details as enough relevant to the public to post another article here.
