Mazaloom Super Sim

(Year 234, Winter) This weekend the Mazaloom Super Sim was arranged in Oasis Springs. This is a bi-annual contest for Athletes, hosted by Mazaloom Weight Club. This time the club trophy, that it takes two following wins to obtain, switched hands!

Seven Athletes reached the final rounds of the competition. Elite contestants have good skills in Fitness and Wellness, which is a requirement for participating at the Simlympics, but for the Super Sim contest the Wellness skill is not required. It still builds your score, though, so you would practically have no chance of winning without it.

However, these contests are also important for attention and new members to the club, and to offer members some contest experience before the top contenders might be picked for the Simlypics. This was the last chance to collect club points before the next Simlympics, coming up in Year 236!

Due to age restrictions, this contest was the last for Lord Bennet Ross from Henford.

This year's Mazaloom Super Sim offered very few surprises. Alice N. de Gould (48) from Newcrest won 1st place with the amazing score of 360 points, which is probably her best score ever. She is 48, meaning the Simlympics will be her very last contest, if she gets picked. The judges favored the winner, while they were not impressed with the runner up, Paula M. Adrian (39) from San Myshuno, who scored 126 points thanks to having a lucky day. Adrian recently married and gave birth to 3 children, so her expectations were said to be «returning to the contest with pride». In such context, coming 2nd is not bad. Adrian was the former holder of the club trophy, that she got based on her two following victories in Year 220 and Year 222. That is quite some time ago. Also de Gould held the club trophy previously, getting it in Year 216 but holding on to it for 4 years, only.

3rd place was won by Mr John Phlum (34), who is among the young and promising contenders, but he only got a score of 72 points. Oasis Fitness Club definitely could need more new members.
