(Year 228) It's that time of year again! Another term is about to begin at University, and six young adults are ready to grab their books and projects with desire! Well, for the first week, the least.
Mossy Lane Dorm has grown very popular with students reserving their stay years in advance. It's basically intended as a better standard dorm for noble youngsters, but after they picked their better roms on 3rd story, there will normally be rooms for regular students as well.
This term there are two young women from the same low nobility house, House of Rab-Saxor, but none of them rank very high, anyway. And - it naturally means fewer photographers at the term opening...
The students do self catering, and fresh dorm members will of course serve the others, so brace your recipes, Laura and Bonita! They pay equally, but the rent depends a bit on several factors as they are included with the weekly bills. Most terms with 6-8 students hey might pay §1000 each.
The common room is always busy. They both study and eat here. But each students have a desk in the bedroom to allow for a few silent hours if needed. Some bring their laptop, others trust the old common computer will not break down again the day of project work delivery (it actually happened once, and a Baron almost failed getting the Honors.
On the above picture there are 2 extra students, who both graduated this Spring; Lord Leon de Cavalier (at the computer) got a Drama degree and despite coming from one of the mot noble houses, he decided to become an Actor! The other one is Micka Kessler (floral skirt left) who got her Psychology degree and will become a Professor. She is daughter of the San Myshuno Psychologist
Kessler, who figured in the As Sims Go By series.
And here is Bonita again, from House of Roxenfox - once high up there, but now just a regular House with slight better routines. She might go for Politics, but is still waiting for her university letter. She is sole heir to her parents and still single, so she might also see these four years as her last chance to party.
Finally, Miss Laura Rab-Saxor sent off her last application for scholarship. She will probably study Fine Art as she is in line to take over her mother's jewelry store, Jesper Jewelry Broker, Inc., located at Magnolia Promenade. With a degree she will even have more options, because her mother will not hand over her store any year soon.
The other 4 students are on their 2nd or 3rd term.
