New Bowling Hall Opened by Judith

(Year 232 Spring) Last night Mazaloom got its very first bowling hall! It is located in the basement under the Gym at Commercial Area of Gloomville, and although the location is not perfect as visitors might switch between the gym and the bowling, it is a perfect location to train your bowling skill!

And, to throw the very first bowling ball on the opening night, no other than global star Judith Ward had volunteered to show off her bowling skills!

- I played bowling when I lived in Sim City, and also my 2nd husband, film director Simerin Ward, was into this nice sport. I would normally beat him, though! We actually discussed founding the first bowling alley in Del Sol Valley back in the days... My Simerin sure had the funds needed, *shrug*

The press had showed up for the event, and Judith seemed to enjoy all the attention.

Then the crowd got a very brief speech from Bill Loffertop (58), politician and leader of the first Bowling Club. The crowd got totally silent when he announced that Judith Wad was ready to open the area by sending the very first ball down the bowling lane.

She grabbed the ball, then took a couple moments to absorb everyone's attention. She could throw a strike? Or perhaps she would something slightly less impressive in order to inspire those fans to do better? No, Judith never aimed for anything below her max capacity!

The arena provides 3 lanes, and right now Judith can only see one of them...

Here we go! With style, of course. Still a quiet crowd... is she the perfect bowler?

- Oh, my toe nail! Oh, by Similius...!

She slipped the ball, and lost her balance, but by her out-of-this-world good luck she managed to avoid falling flat. The ball found its way into the lane's right side ditch, and Judith Ward scored a big fat zero! 

- It was my toe nail, she explained. - My bowling skill might need some polishing, I admit, but why on earth did not someone remind me of switching into proper shoes? I should not be allowed entering the lane on high heals!

 

Anyway, the attendees applauded and the bowling hall was opened!

Now a word from the Bowling Club leader, Bill Loffertop!

- I started the first club, and well - it is already full! I hope there will be more bowling arenas built all over the kingdom, Mazaloom really needs more fun locations like this. More clubs are welcome, too! We'll organize under «Mazaloom Bowling Club», and our first annual tournament «Mazaloom Super Bowler» will take place this year! Registration takes place this Spring, while the battles start in Fall. Only Elite club members (Bowling skill 5) can attend, but there is time to practice! By joining a regional bowling club you might build that skill faster!
