(Year 232, Spring) I hope you had a nice Winterfest! Here is my latest bunch of gossips to entertain you while you cuddle in front of your fireplace and stuff yourself with those final Winterfest cookies! It's my 11th edition, and I really can't believe I am still doing this thing! *shrug*. Winter is less busy than Summer, but I've searched high and low to please each of you!
She wants to be allowed to live a more normal family life, but either fans are gazing or photographers are taking her picture no matter what she is doing.
Picture above is from Suzi and Prince Ace (55) announcing their engagement. The couple did willingly pose for the fans, but fans never had enough.
Suzi Stench, which is her civil name, works as a Mentor at the Showbiz Academi located at Mirage Park in Del Sol Valley. When she does her paperwork - or takes a break by playing some computer game during working hours, photographers might pop up.
Perhaps all this fuzz was the reason why she finally took a week off and traveled to Tomarang to visit her brother? A week in silence on the little family farm where she grew up. Their mother is still on the farm, too, and brother Yan Stench has a little family.
Will this indicate that Suzi and her little family will leave Del Sol Valley to rather live in the countryside? Or are the other rumors true - that she plans to turn her Mirage Park property into a rental business? Time will tell!
Still at Mirage Park, it might be of interest to mention that 2nd wife of Principal of the Butler Academy, Abraham Golden, has revealed that she might aim for President!
Emma Ratchild Golden (62) represents the RIGHT party and is currently leading the Science & Education department. Picture taken two years ago during a political photo session.
But now - let's talk about royals!
Every year on 1st day of Winter, «Investiture Day», the official Royal Court takes place in the palace's Throne Room. In Spring the same year, the Monarch will have announced this year's line up.
Talking of royals, the royal family of Sea recently paid a visit to our royal family. They stayed long enough to join the celebration of Crown Princess Emireza's 20th birthday. But the visit also meant a lot to the Royal Chief Attendant, Patricia Maiden (51).
It was a chance for Miss Maiden to greet her newly discovered relatives! It turned out that her mother - the model of that scandalous Snorthia painting, was a Sea Princess!
During their stay, the Crown Princess was observed walking with Prince Weever (31) at Fashion District of San Myshuno.
The Royal Palace Office has confirmed that HRH took a day off school to guide Prince Weever. The couple looked quite busy discussing something. The question I ask myself now is whether our royal house sees Prince Weever as a candidate for a future Prince Consort? It might involve some genetic consequences, but might still be a valuable move to strengthen the relation between the two kingdoms.
Crown Princess Emireza is reportedly experiencing much more interest from young men these days, also from those not quite aware of her status.
Here she was photographed at the Trotter Park in Copperdale, stalked by some young man. She will study at Summerfield High in Windenburg for about 4 more years, so she is in no hurry. Most likely she will move on to University, as all Monarchs traditionally get a History degree. But I expect her parents to have a short list of candidates that they want her to meet, and she is indeed old enough to start working on that list!
Talking of Summerfield High... Crown Princess Emireza is not the only royal student there! 2 of her 3 younger brothers stay at this same boarding school. The 4th sibling wanted to go too, but of security reasons he had to study elsewhere. They are too close in age.
Above is a snap of HRH Prince Cecil (17) in Principal's office, practicing cross stitching. Or wait - was the young Prince actually being punished for something? Why else would he care about needle and threads?
Off to the countryside!
There are many rumors involving the Rossie dukedom, and this year the local talk focused on two of their servants; Butler David Watson (49) and Cook Loretta Heisserclump (48). If I got the story correctly, the unmarried Cook got pregnant with Butler Watson's child!
I'm not sure whether the child was already born - I suppose it was - but it is needless to say that the situation caused some problems to Duke Jarret of Rossie (62). He obviously had to react some way.
Duke Rossie is of the kinder heart, so according to a local that I will keep anonymous, Agatha Crumplebottom, the couple was offered to rent the farm near by, owned by the dukedom. The Cook can stay there while raising the little one, while the lordship hired another Cook. Butler Watson keeps his job at the palace, but will reside with his new family, as they married this Summer.
Added: A son was born. His name is Jarret Watson, he must be named after the Duke!
Who would expect Principal Mei L. Prescott to swing that bowling ball?
Well, she did her best, probably talked into it by her oldest daughter, Polly, who actually has some bowling talent. Mrs. Prescott though, might need to practice some more...
Are you ready for some San Sequoia news?
Well, I have been waiting for news about Prudency G. Effenmont (84), the one that accepted the challenge at the Simmerville Show (edition 5), to show how easy it is to become an Actress like Judith Ward!
Prudency Effenmont is supposed to work on this project for one year, that's how much time she expected to need to reach Judith! It was reported that the old eccentric woman actually visited a Talent Agency, but that's all I heard. Hopefully she will soon be guesting the Simmerville Show again, because I'm desperate fore an update!
Another San Sequoia resident, Aronia (de Porportoza) Pepperstone (58), wife of former President Laurent Pepperstne, was seen guesting Henford-on-Bagley. Locals liked what they heard.
Aronica Pepperstone gave a quick political speech regarding how Henford-on-Bagley farmers should benefit more from improved distribution. Aronica was a member of the LEFT party for years, everyone thought her main intention was to support her husband, but could those ambitions have grown?
I always loved visiting Gloomville, the district (also known as Willow Creek) has a dedicated place in my heart! And they also have celebrities! Recently TV faces Fritz Mervil and Khloe Adrian married and moved to Willow Field in Gloomville. Last time I checked Khloe had not yet given birth to their firstborn.
But Gloomville also has a barony! Baron Bud of Gloom (84) is still around, but he is getting quite old, as is the Baroness (82). Their son, The Honorable Edward, is first in line of successors, and years ago he married Lady Merielle de Cavalier from Brindleton Bay. They have a couple toddlers already.
This Winter was Edward's 50th birthday, and while he had invited a large group of guests for a "blue location" party, which I heard was taking place at the Grim Quarry in Evergreen Harbor, the exact birthday was celebrated with just he closes family. They all reside at the huge Brixerwood House. I just learned that 150 years ago the expired House of Brixerwood was actually the kingdom's wealthiest house regarding owned land - only The Crown owned more than the Gloom barons.
Unfortunately, we also need to deal with sad news...
Newcrest resident and famous Athlete, John Northdale, is dead at 104!
Here he was pictured only a couple years ago, taking a stroll in San Sequoia. Looking great for a 102 years old man! He was the oldest living resident of Mazaloom kingdom and will probably deserve a mention in our history book. He leaves wife and one grown up daughter.
And then some good news...
Lord Leon de Cavalier (36, brother of Duke Charlopold de Cavalier) and Bonita Roxenfox (35) are engaged!
Lord Leon was seen as an expert judge in the recent TV show «The Bagged Talent», he has been residing at Mirage Park where he actually rented a room from Suzi Sushi. Bonita Roxenfox is not ranked as a noble, but she hails from Newcrest nobility a few generations back. She is currently attending her final term in University.
The wedding will take place this Summer.
So - ready for the city gossips?
I sure am!
This year saw the White Eye Syndrome trial, where former Politician, Victor F. Tangerin (74), was found guilty in spreading his eye syndrome and not paying any of those many children born outside marriage. Perhaps Victor Tangerin just got what he deserved? But what about his wife, Claudia Tangerin Mester Shine?
Yes, she is wealthy, and yes, she was probably the one who paid those fines and the child support. But keep in mind, she was never accused for anything in this case. I heard that Claudia Tangerin has more enemies than friends. And, although she was born in San Myshuno, her filthy rich father immigrated from Simerinia. She has only one child who will inherit her. Perhaps she lacks friends because she did not provide children for other houses than her own?
We saw her at the recent Landlord Deed presentation at Peaople Chamber. No wnder she looked a bit tired (pictured above), considering all she had to deal with lately. Those extra children - from all over the kingdom, are technically heirs to her husband Victor, so if Claudia is the first to go, her son might lose half her fortune to his unknown half siblings!
In the city we also find the Meadows dukedom, and this Winter their only child, Lady Corva Saxor, turned 25. She is now a young adult, free to make (most of) her own decisions.
The heritage situation is a little alarming for the House of Saxor. They hold the dukedom which requires a male heir. Lady Corva can become head of the House, but not hold the dukedom. Being the only child must have been troublesome for her, mentally. She is the loved child, but not good enough. Duke Victus of Meadows is still quite young, though, so there won't be any immediate call for successors, and if Corva gets a son AND manages to marry a highly ranked guy who allows her to keep her family name, then there might still be hope...
I've previously connected Lady Corva with Baron Rainert of Myshuno (30). I'm no longer so sure he will be found good enough for a Duke's daughter. He is currently seen as high nobility, which should qualify, but will he keep the district order and high nobility status come the Regional Reform?
Baron Rainert has showed some interest in Lady Corva, and he will be graduated from University in just a couple years. But it all depends on whether San Myshuno becomes one region or if the two lords will reign in different regions. Royal Chamber has announced that there will only be one high nobility peer in each region, as the original intention was. Unfortunately, People Chamber seems to take forever to decide on the reform!
Will we see Baron Rainert propose to Lady Corva before the Regional Reform is decided? Or will he wait to see his new status first? I think the latter would be wiser, but then he risks not being found worthy of a lady's hand...
That's all for the 11th edition of my gossips column! Take care!
