Agnes Crumplebottom's Testament

(Year 234, Spring) Mrs Agnes Crumplebottom aged 100 has finally written a testament! Turning 100 might be a bit late to share your properties among those beloved relations, but the old woman is with great health. Last year she celebrated her big anniversary with a full day program, and she was not seen moaning once - at least not for being sleepy or tired. However, the following couple days nobody observed her outside of her cousin Agatha's house.

Agnes happens to be among the wealthiest residens of the entire kingdom. According to previous tax records, she is today good for more than 1,4 million simoleons! On her birthday she did announce that she intended to transfer half of her shares to her son with no delay - a son who was questioned by many because he has a female voice and he was never seen offended by nearby flirting. That transaction went official last year, as Angus Crumplebottom received 7% of Landgraab Industries, Inc. worthy more than 1 million simoleons! Agnes still owns 8%, plus she also own shares in Tredony Trades, Inc and cousin Agathe's gardening shop. So the testament will still be of great interest to many!

Most of Agnes' wealth comes from being the major owner (previously 15%, noe 8%) of Landgraab Industries, Inc. These are old stocks, inherited from her mother long ago and technically owned by the Crumplebottom foundation. The Landgraabs is main owner with 31%, but attempted changing the ownership balance several times, especially in the years of late Nancy Landgraab there were many disagreements. A secret agreement was said to keep Agnes away from the board group, that is normally the 3 biggest owners.

In addition Agnes owns 10% in Tredony Trades, Inc. (once founded and still controled by the royal House of Luxe-Hamper) and Agatha's garden shop business, but it's probably no big money. She also owns indexed heirlooms worth more than §70,000. There exists no Crumplebottom estate, though, as Agnes moved in with Agatha long ago, in a rented cottage owned by the Rossie dukedom.

Mr Angus Crumplebottom (44) married and have one daughter, Miss Agnella (6). Because Angus' wife is now elderly, there won't be any more heirs. A testament can of course benefit relations outside the closest family, too, and technically, the Goth family could be on Agnes' mind. Mortimer Goth and Agnes are cousins via Agnes' late mother, Prudence.

Also Agatha visited a Lawyer to set her testament! She is rather wealthy, too, the tax register suggests that she is good for more than §100,000.

Agatha Crumpleton (95) has no children, so it is expected that her nephew (Agnes' son) or his daughter will be benefitters. After all they lived together for more than a decade.

So, will Agnella inherit both the old women?

There will most likely be time to grow a new tooth before any will reading, though.

* Technically residents of Mazaloom can have two sorts of testaments. Because the in-game will focus only on objects, there is a on-the-side system covering all kind of values, including houses and stocks - and more. On a sim's BIO-page you can see whether a testament was written or not - there is a note for all sims of a certain age, and there is also a suggestion to write a testament for sims with a certain wealth. There are laws controling heritage, like your testament can only affect up to 50% of your total worth.
