Gossips #17

(Year 234, Summer) Hello again! I'm ready with the 17th issue of my gossips column! Upcoming social season must wait until next issue, because there is so much in the line-up. Are you ready, too? Let's go!

As usual, we'll start with the royals.

With a Crown Princess getting closer to growing up, speculations are flowing regarding her possible love interests, but nothing has yet been confirmed. Some think she might be set up for a strategic marriage with Prince Weever of Sea (34), but if we know the King and Queen as well as we like to think, any decision will be made by Crowen Princess Emireza herself. She is still holding a low profile while in boardng school in Windenburg, but I expect to see her a lot more out and about during her Summer break.

Her cousin, HH Prince Marquis (25) is ready to step out, though!

This fine young man just celebrated his 25th birthday (YA), and this Fall he will start a 3 years long study at University. I think he will move into the manor where his older sister, Princess Evendice, is currently staying. The manor is owned by the Duke of Rossie, but let to high society students when vacant.

And now, we're heading up north!

According to rumors, the Windenburg dukedom had a rather tough period financially, after Duke Merlin was re-instated a decade ago. The Estate von Windenburg was renovated, and finances became short. Dukedomes normally keep more than just one servant, but in this case their butler handled everything from daily household, cooking and assisting with the five children!

The (un)lucky man was Lord Virtus de Gould (48). Yes, he hails from the Ticktop county, he is the younger brother of Count Helfert. Their county Trust owns a secondary estate in Glimmerbrook, and now that the former renter, Mr Millort de Gould (50) moved with his little household to Newcrest, Lord Victus quits his butler job and returns to Glimmerbrook. He is single, and I bet it is on time he starts searching for a spouse... At least Mr de Gould's horse will be waiting for him to keep him company.

Duke Merlin's new butler is rumored to come from Ravenwood, but I don't think he is of nobility.

And now, to region Rossie, where some romance was spotted!

This is a repear: A couple that is dating, thinking nobody observed them. This time at Gibbs graveyard, outside the regional recreation center.

I'm talking about Baron Rainert of Myshuno (32), a guy I think we will hear a lot from in the future. He just got his History degree in Britechester. He clearly got involved with more than the past though, as he was often seen  with another student, Ms. Valeria Phlum (31). She is the daughter of Mr Edvin Phlum, the founder of the successful online trading service, Plopsy. Her mother is Doctor Lucille C. Phlum. Valeria started a Doctor career, too, before going to University. The couple has been dating for some time, one of my sources even suggests they might be engaged!

One reason I say we'll see more of Baron Rainert shortly, is that he is formally still 1st in line to the Rossie dukedom. As a teenager he was adviced to leave the dukedom to a brother, because Rainert was the only heir to the Myshuno barony. Since then, Myshuno barony lost its high nobility rank, so when the day comes, that the current duke dies, Rainert might crash all those plans of his parents, and grab anything he is entitled to. I can hardly wait, because there will be a losing part no matter how the situation gets handled. It's not going to happen quite yet, so Rainert and Valerie will have plenty of time to  build a family.

Near by is Hollow, still quite forgotten but conastantly moving more into the limelight. Some says the place is ruled by vampires, while others assure us that such creatures do not exist.

We all learned to love Jane Gargoyle from her performances at the popular Simmerville Show. Now she is aking a break, and rumors have it that she just gave birth! She is said to have a relation with the son of her Master. It's all a bit shady, but I might find out more until next issue.

Fritz Mervil and Jane Gargoyle has been entertaining us for a good number of shows already. It was not yet confirmed by Simmerville Studio whether Gargoyle will return to the show. Perhaps she will now become our next baby expert? Ha!

So, we're finally going to the jetset region Tredony!

 

I love this region,  not the least because it includes all the lovely celebrites of Del Sol Valley. In this issue Judith gets my attention (again).

Someone sent me this picture saying it shows actress Judith Ward (70) teaching jazz legend Olivia Clump (81) a lesson about how to dress properly. I'm surprised that Olivia actually attended the Awards wearing her sports outfit, could it be that the old jazz lady is no longer quite keeping up?

Judith had another fantastic year last year, as her movie «Lemonade» reached Top 1.

It was the most viewd film last year. Here photographed in front of the Plumbob Pictures display at Fun Factory, at Magnolia Promenade, San Myshuno. Now that Judith sailed into her elderlihood, it might be harder for her to get the leading roles, but she can still be a leading star.

Another fan sent me this picture from Judith's 70th birthday party. Penny Pizzazz was posing, but on Judith's grand piano there is a photo of herself, and in most rooms the celebrated actress displays huge paintings featuring nobody but herself. While her self absorbation might be a fact, at least those photos represent good memories.

So, let's move over to region Crafthole!

In the past I hardly looked to Crafthole for gossips, but now that actress Fedibeth Tapper (54) attempts to make a comeback, I finally found the region interesting.  

Fedibeth had several leading roles a couple decades ago, known for films like «Good Night Mrs Tapper» and «Night of the Dead». Back then she was signed with G.R.A.N., but due to the long break she is now signed with Everyday Extras. Now she is again seen in a lead, this time in the horror movie «My Late Sister in Ravenwood» that is currently in production.

Fedibeth lives in Copperdale with her husband, their son and his wife. Rumors have it that Fedibeth is having a very strong chemistry with her daughter in-law, Gambla P. Tapper (36). I mean V E R Y strong. I'll explore these rumors for a future issue.

Another busy region for the jetset is of course San Myshuno.

The pulsating city was perhaps more in the headlines of the past. After all it is our capital, and center for stately administration and what not. But those subjects normally include politicians and not so much showbiz. It includes big money, too...

Recently someone observed a well known San Myshuno couple out shopping. It was Prime Minister Rob Wilder (73) and his wife Mrs Holly Alto (62). They were seen visiting Gallery Ex-Po in Newcrest. This is a broker trading valuable heirlooms between aristocratic Houses, but lately they also provide jewellery and raw crystals. The business is owned by company Ching, Inc. which again is owned by House von Kaching.

It's actually Holly who owns most of the couple's money, but with common twins I assume they don't need to have a separated economy. Or wait... because Holly's son from a previous marriage has the right to his share from Holly but not from his stepfather Rob, maybe they keep things separated, anyway.

Another hot couple is actor Chaos Kessler (40) and Singer Tamara Adrian (29). They are engaged, but recently had a baby so I assume the rumors about a wedding is not totally off? Tamara is the sister of TV-face Khloe Adrian (married to Simmerville Studio CEO, Fritz Mervil). In fact, they are tripplets, but the 3rd sister, Clara, is said to be more into Archaeology than showbiz.

Recently Chaos and Tamara were photographed attending Judith Ward's 70th birthday celebrations. They obviously had a good babysitter (Clara?), because the couple was among the last guests leaving the party. Chaos had a supporting role in the Judith Ward movie «Best Friends Forever» (Plumbob Pictures, Y230).

And now, we're heading a bit farther south...

Mr Laurent Pepperstone (63) was our Prime Minister (LEFT party) only one period ago. Then he lost the election to the RIGHT party and Rob Wilder. Pepperstone has been staying as Caretaker at a royal estate in San Sequoia for a few years already. It means he can use the estate on a 10 years contract without paying rent beyond the regular bills. That's probably one of the benefits you can achieve from being a PM - access to royal estates!

Recently it was reveiled that the Pepperstone couple is splitting. They blame it on rules saying that candidates for regional Councilor can only be nominated for the region where they reside. This goes for district Mayors as well. It's no secret that Laurent's wife, Aronica (60) wants to run for the upcoming election, but as they both represent the LEFT party, and Laurent Peppersone is still running, one of them would need to move elsewhere. However, my sources can now tell a different story. The Peppersons were observed many times yelling at each other, and it seems like their marriage is not of the easy kind. So, is the election rule just an excuse? I guess we'll find out soon enough: If everything is fine in their lives, they would move back together following the election - unless they both win a political seat...

The vast region Advorton has become quite interesting over the last few decades. We got Ciudad Enamorada as the hot spot for flirts, and we got a still growing interest in equestrian sports which is among the central activities of Chestnur Ridge. And of course we have a good number of celebrities in old Oasis Springs, too!

One of them, the wealthy Mrs Aili vK. Landgraab (49) was observed at Judith's birthday party.

I still found no obvious tie between her and Judith, except they both enjoy being rich. I assume Mrs Landgraab simply saw the oportunity to grab some attention? Or was she there to discuss business plans on behalf of her extremely wealthy husband?

The latter came directly from a film set, making a joke over her costume being perfect for the party as Judith wore it fourtyfive years ago... Well, I'd agree if Fedibeth was 25 years younger...

Talking of the Landgraabs...

Farmer Thomas Watson (56) from Henford-on-Bagley visited the Landgraab estate the other day. He wanted to hand them a good quality item of their well known Mayonnaise, for selling it at the Bazar at Dusty Turf, operated by the Landgraab family. However, it turned out that Mr Malcolm Landgraab had more important businesses to focus on, and sent the farmer to talk with his oldest son, Buffrey (15)...

Our final stop is the Gloom region. Not tons of gossips from this region, but I'm sure there will be more next time, not the least regarding the currently ongoing upgrade of Crestville in Newcrest, and the fact that Simmerville Studio has some interesting announcements in their line-up.

Talking of Simmerville Studio, did you knowe that TV-face Khloe (Adrian) Mervil (29) has spent some time on acting? She claims that she won't leave the TV format, but that working with film can teach her a lot.

There was a rather nasty debate at the TV studio where several TV-faces were accused for not contributing enough to the rank results of their productions, I heard that News anchor Paulo Caliente was among those who actually got a bold warning from the board! The TV and film Top 10 is not very old, but while films get their rank based on actors' skills and fame and more, TV production did focus way too little on their casting. The casting seems more important than before, and it is expected that also Simmerville Studio will pay more attention to both hosts and guests. Will it be the end to tv shows where the main guest of the night is not a famous celebrity?

Someone who would certainly qualify as a main guest is jazz legend Olivia Clump (81)!

Last week she made a surprise appearance at Bar «High-Ho» in Newcrest, to honor the jazz club and little stage where she spent the early years of her career. She can no longer sing, but she mimed to one of her old hits «Jazzami», receiving the longest applause of the night. Other performances included Olla Jones and Tamara Adrian. The event was a rather spontanious get together the last night before the old club closed its doors for good. The ongoing upgrade of most lots at Crestville in Newcrest includes that a company switched lots, and a new small business will take over here. The good news to music lovers is that a new jazz club will be built next door instead! Meaning «High-Ho» will live on, just in a much bigger format!

Who can complain about that? I will definitely not, because a new club concept might even attract some celebrities! I'm personally not into jazz, but I'm so looking forward for the opening this Fall!

With all this music talk, and before I close this issue - let's celebrate that our neighbor, Empire of Snorthia, again has opened its borders.

This is one of their High Priests singing at a karaoke bar! I'm not sure who he is or how old the photo is. I think their higest priest is located in their region Yacothia, but it reminds me that karaoke is indeed big in Snorthia, and if you want to find out more about their hobby singers - priests or not - you can now travel to their karaoke bars yourself, to check it out! I wouldn't expect running into the high priest though, as this picture might be AI generated.
