Do You Descend from King Baltazar II? (Part 4 of 4 - Advorton and Gloom)

Mazaloom kingdom is nearly 235 years old. The many monarchs left a wide set of descendants, located all over the kingdom. In this series we're learning what current residents do descend from the greatest king of them all; King Baltazar II, reigning Y2-Y48.

Back in the Medieval era his household resided at Heighwood Castle (Britechester), but his children and grandchildren spread widely, mostly through the well established aristocracy.

This is the last chapter, covering regions that include districts like Ciudad Enamorada, Chestnut Ridge, Oasis Springs, StrangerVille, Gloomville, Newcrest, Brindleton Bay and Evergreen Harbor. Only one more chapter remains, the abroad descendants.

Chalbert de Froux Mester Sangiovese (70) and Princess Hortenzia (60), Chestnut Ridge

Mr Chalbert, is the only alive descendant still carrying King Baltazar's family name and bringing on House de Froux. Chalbert is not only descending from King Baltazar, but also from his son, King Rupert. King Rupert had only one daughter, Princess Convolze, which resulted in the Throne passing over to House von Donnersmalt. Convolze was given some land in Tartosa, and had a daughter, Birgitta de Froux, who started the nectar making business that is still run by her grandson, Chalbert.

Princess Hortenzia, who married Chalbert, is the granddaughter of Baron Ebenezer of Port (SimNation), his mother again was the grandchild of King Baltazar.

Chalbert and Hortenzia recently moved with their family to Rider's Glen in Chestnut Ridge, after several decades in Tartosa. They have two children, Miss Floria (27) and Mr Barros (24). Both still living with their parents, and Floria will be next Head of this House.

Malcolm Landgraab (81), Oasis Springs

It might come as a surprise to many that the Landgraabs are on this list, but they did not only grab land, they also married strategically. The wealthiest man of the nation is descenting direcly from King Baltazar, through his daughter Princess Emergale, and her son, King Wizar from the House von Donnersmalt. The Donnersmalts had their seat at Verde in Oasis Springs, so it seems natural that the king's daughter, Princess Ann Caramelle, settled there with her unlegit son, Geoffrey. Geoffrey married to Nancy Landgraab, and they had Malcolm.

Malcolm married The Honorable Aili (pictured) of the (at the time) high nobility house von Kaching (Gloom barony), and they have three sons all in their teens. There's only three generations between King Wizar and Malcolm, but due to Geoffrey being born outside marriage, they never held any royal rights. It's also worth noticing that Geoffrey was born when the nation was no longer a monarchy, thanks to the Great Revolution. His mother, Princess Ann Caramelle, kept using her title, though.

Wandelia Summerton (45), Ciudad Enamorada

She served as butler at Shiningham Hall for many years, but recently she quit and moved to Ciudad Enamorada to start her own family. She had a baby with one of the royal palace's security staff.

Her line back to King Baltazar is the same as of her brother Jurton Summerton: Her mother Vegana was graddaughter of Baron August Juan of Verde, who was King Baltazar's grandson.

Late Baron Auphor of Verde (93), Oasis Springs

Auphor used to be the Duke of Meadows, one of the wealthiest and most powerful dukedoms of the nation. He managed to withdraw from his position, something that is unheard of as being a duke is a lifelong commitment. He therefore founded a new House, Sax-Donnersmalt, and left House of Saxor with his son, the current Duke of Meadows. Recently Auphor was known as the Baron of Verde, with seat in Oasis Springs. He was the only child of daughter of Baron August of Verde, who again was the grandson of King Baltazar.

Baron Auphor's widow is Morgan (Fyres), they have 3 young children, but Auphor also had a son (the mentioned Duke of Meadows) from his first marriage.

Duke Charlopold de Cavalier (43), Brindleton Bay

His mother, late Duchess Claudine's father, was the great grandson of Princess Emergale, who married the Baron of Verde. Emergale was King Baltazar's daughter.

Charlopold is the oldest of 3 siblings, and he took over his father's dukedom a couple years before he actually inherited it, due to his father's health issues. Charlopold married Lady Luna from Windenburg, from House von Heimlich. They have two young children so far, but with only one son they might continue to build their family. This is the youngest dukedom of the nation, founded as late as Year 98, long after King Baltazar's passing.

The household resides at Chateau Cavalier in Brindleton Bay.

Lord Leon (de Cavalier) Roxenfox (39), Brindleton Bay

He has the same line back to King Baltazar as his brother, Duke Leopold (above). Leon chose to step a bit back, focusing on his career in the entertainment business. He is a rather successful Actor still building popularity, know from films and TV-shows. When he married into the House of Roxenfox, he chose to take his wife's family name, which is not the norm of the old aristocracy. They had one baby girl so far. His wife, Mrs Bonita Roxenfox, is a lone child, and they plan moving into the Roxenfox Hall in Newcrest, where her parents still reside, eventually.

Baron Edward of Gloom (53) and Broness Merielle (41), Gloomville

Both Edward and Merielle can trace their roots back to King Baltazar. Edward's grandfather, Esmond Ching, was grandson of Bron Roger of Gloom. Roger's wife, Princess Cordelia Ann, was King Baltazar's granddaughter.

Merielle (de Cavalier) von Kaching shares the royal heritage with her brother Charlopold (above).

Edward recently inherited the Gloom barony, and the couple resides one of the most spacious estates that is not owned by the royal trust. They have three daughters, but a son is required to bring on the peerage. So, it is expected that they will try for more children in the near future. If they don't success, there is a chance that the barony will be passed over to the Landgraabs, via Bsron Edward's sister, Mrs Aili (von Kaching) Landgraab.

Colletta (Luxe-Hamper) Luxe-Honey, Evergreen Harbor

Another descendant from Birgitta de Froux is Mrs Colletta (Luxe-Hamper) Luxe-Honey (70). She is married to a distant relative, Mr Dave (Luxe-Hamper) Luxe-Honey (63). They changed their name to Luxe-Honey in order to distance from the royal House of Luxe-Hamper. Unfortunately Colletta and Dave never had children, but they compensate by running the colorful Sprucewood Prime, a boarding school popular with aristocracy. Pupils focus a lot on fun and creativity while they build skills.

Mrs Paula (Ching) Altham (88), Gloomville

She is the aunt of Baron Edward of Gloom (above), and the daughter of his grandfathger, Esmond Ching. Her line to royal blood is described there.

Mrs Paula recently shocked everybody when marrying at her high age, and things did not get easier when the couple announced that they had written a new testament where they would partly benefit the one surviving the other. They both hold huge values, which suddenly is on stake to the family who lose their heritage.

Mrs Paula has no children, and her House of Ching will die out with her - which it basically did already, as she took her husband's lastname, Altham.

Mrs Charlotta Crumpleton (67), Gloomville

Her mother Wilma hailed from the extinct House of Brixerwood, being the  granddaughter of Baron Roger of Gloom. The baron's wife, Cordelia Ann was daughter of Princess Emergale, who's father was King Baltazar.

Charlotta is a known politician currently representing the RIGHT party with a seat at People Chamber. She is a member of Ministry of Health & Welfare, while er brother Charloman is a member of Ministry of Trades & Taxes.

She married Gunter Munch, and they reside in Gloomville with their 2 teen twin sons and 2 cats.

Mr Charloman Au. C. Dougham (61), Newcrest

He is brother of Mrs Charlotta Crumpleton (above), sharing her line back to royals.

Charloman is a meritted Politician, currently representing the RIGHT party with a seat at People Chamber. He is a member of Ministry of Trades & Taxes, while his sister Charlotta is a member of Ministry of Health & Welfare. He might be the RIGHT party's Prime Minister candidate come the election in less than a year. Candidates go public on 1st day of Fall, which is coming up very soon.

He married to one of the nation's wealthiest women, Mrs Corinne Dougham. They reside in Newcrest, and have triplets aged 23.

Igor (Alto) Potterfield (49), Newcrest

He is the younger brother of Mrs Holly Alto (chapter 3) in San Myshuno. Mr Igor obviously inherited quite a bit from their parents years back, but back in those days he objected to the aristocracy system and wanted to make a living from fresh money. So, he left most of the family company to his sister.

They share the line back to King Baltazar; Igor's father, Nick Alto, was son of Ebernizer Alto, who was Baron of Port, situated in Bridgeport, SimNation. His mother again, was the grandchild of King Baltazar II.

Mr Igor is now a Teacher, recently married and with two children (2) in Newcrest.
