Mr. Landgraab warns about Painting Artist

(Year 234, Fall) Mr Malcolm Landgraab Mester Cacti wants to warn anyone who plan ordering the portrait services from well known Painter, Vince Remeréz. He recently paid the well known artist a visit, but today he regret it all.

Mr Malcolm Landgraab (81) in front of some past family heroes.

- I visited Remeréz' studio at Kasbah Gallery in San Myshuno. I spent a full day, but it turns out that it was a complete waste of my time!

The astronomously wealthy man - good for more than §7,000,000 has turned 81, and it was his wife, Mrs Aili (von Kashing) Landgraab, who suggested that Malcolm should have a portrait painted. They picked Remeréz as he is said to be among the better portrait painters, besides Aili knew him from her younger years, when he rented a room with her parents (baron and baroness of Gloom), and even worked together with Aili's mother, Dowager Baroness Rose of Gloom. He even painted the young Aili half naked - a painting that disappeared back in tose days, luckilly. She still recall that her now late father, Baron Bud of Gloom, threw the artist out of the house.

- At our humble home, we have a wall of portraits of family heroes, including my late mother Nancy, her grandfather Mr Kermit Landgraab, and my own grandmother, Princess Ann Caramell. I was supposed to join them on that wall, being quite the hero myself.

A snap from the session in Remeréz' studio at Arts Quarter in San Myshuno.

He admits that he was never before painted, he only has a couple smaller photo portraits. Now, it was on time.

- But it was all a huge mistake, Mr Landgraab regrets. - I traveled to San Myshuno, got painted, paid §1,589 and returned to Oasis Springs with my fresh portrait, that was not even dry. Then, when we were supposed to hang my portrait on the wall, the canvas had turned all white! The so called portrait expert must have sold me a white painting!!!

Mr Landgraab will now claim a total refund from the artist, not for the sake of the money as much as the case. He hates being fooled, and might consider taking the fraud to court, even.

The painter, Vince Remeréz (76) has not yet commented on the case.
