(Year 235, Spring) One of the new politicians with a seat at People Chamber, is Adriana Hyde (61). She lost the run for Northaven Mayor to Mr Marvin Hyggeloth (LEFT), but was listed 9th by the RIGHT party which meant she could grab the final seat won by RIGHT. That's not bad for someone totally unknown outside their own district!
Adriana Hyde is not involved with the party's core group, which count their top 5 politicians, meaning she might need to work a bit harder to influence community. But as a member of Ministry of Science & Education she has more than a foot on the political stage. Was this her preferred ministry?
- No, I always speak frankly, and I did not want this ministry. I'm not interested in science, and education is important in all politics, but I don't find it appealing personally. I have no eduction beyond the minimum public school system, whuch I found rather boring.
So, what made Adriana Hyde decide to run for this recent election?

| Adriana wants less rules and more Simoleons for everyone. |
- My chosen cause was "Simoleons for everyone", then it was desided that each party shall have only one fraction instead of two fractions. I've been told to either change to "Foundation for Less Mischief" or to switch to the LEFT party. Hah! I will adjust my official cause, just wanting to first tell the nation that I believe in more money for everyone!
But, why politics in the first place?
- Frankly, I don't like how Mazaloom developed over the past decades. There are too many detailed systems and routines, I want a nation where we can all live a bit more freely. Besides, my family is quite important back home in Nordhaven, my ambitions are to honor my ancestors and my home district! My absolute goal is to move into the new Prime Minister House!
Talking about family, this week was the traditional "Bring yiur kids to work" day at Council House in Magnolia Promenade. Adriana brought her daughter Iverborg (5), but also her current boyfriend, Crispin Black (57). He is Iverborg's uncle!
