Royal Palace hired new Staff

(Year 235, Spring) As advertised last year, the Royal Palace Office has been searching for two new members of staff; the 2nd Cook and not the least, the Crown Princess' Maid. This Spring they both were found and have already started their journey with the royals.

This time the introduction was a bit tedious, especially for the Maid who would need to greet HRH Crown Princess Emireza (24).

Normally the new staff member will meet their new eployer at the palace, but we all know it can be hard even saying hello to someone with a few levels of fame. So, Head Butler, Mr Rubbernoos, desided to visit the two new employees instead. Mind you, the Maid and 2nd Cook might not even  meet with the King or the Queen, at least not anytime soon, so here we are talking of other but higher ranked staff members as Employer.

Mrs Desdemona (Capp) Larsen (65) was hired as the Crown Princess' new Maid. A rather tricky greeting session took place at Casa Rouge in Ciudad Enamorada, where Mrs Larsen resides as Caretaker with her husband Hugo Larsen, and their child. Hugo Larsen is a royal staff member as well, as he is the main Driver.

Afterwards it turned out their compatibility was positive.

- I must admit I was nervous meeting Her Royalty, said Mrs Larsen. - We will be spending much time together, and although we won't need to become best friends forever, it's a relief that we go this well together. If thery (RPO) wanted a BFF I assume they would have found someone younger than me.

Mrs Larsen is in fact distantly related to Baron Tybalt de Bellacorde, she is actually a member of the Capp dynasty. She claim she has hardly any contact with her 1st Cousin, though.

Migt be a weird thing to do, Mrs Larsen, pulling out a future cube in front of the Crown Princess? Or did you need to check your future just in order to make sure this is really happwening?

Speculations have it that RPO is looking to have Mrs Larsen replaced before Emireza gets her coronation far ahead in time. Often a Maid will follow the royal Heir into their reign period, but this time the Maid will simply be too old.

- I plan to retire at some point, of course, Mrs Larsen said. - But I might work a bit into my 70s. First I guess I'll live through her university years, then we'll see what her plans might be.

After this meeting Head Butler Rubbernoos headed to Newcrest, where their new 2nd Cook was found.

Jolene Potterfield (33) is rather young, but has already taken interest in baking, inspired by her late granny. She is married with Holly Alto's brother, and they have twin toddlers. It must be mentioned that she is the only child of the current Royal Photographer.

- I will stay here in Newcrest, as I understand I will not be required to be at the palace every single day. My new routine will surely be sorted out!
