Albert didn't propose yet, but his plan is to get married in a hurry, to avoid that the ugly Myrhna moves out and takes little Hui with her. If the little boy turns out to be extremely ugly, he will be even more valuable in Albert's eyes! Sad, but true.
Not quite sure you actually want to get married, Albert?
The day when he wanted to propose and get married, started out quite badly, though. Somehow they both were exhausted at sunrise. Albert was hungry, too, and while Myrhna still slept, he prepared waffles.
- These eggs are cold, from the fridge, right? I gotta wear gloves when cracking them.
Myrhna was not in a good mood...
- So you thought it would be a good idea to show off your cooking skills?, she moaned. - I can make those cakes too, milk, egg and salt, right?
- Well, not so much salt, actually...
- So what, we need to follow all the recipes, or? I don't know about that!
Then Albert tried to warm up t the great day...
- My dearest, ugly Myrhna. I wanna suggest a special day for us...
- What?
- How about a lovely ceremony at the beach?
- What ceremony? Anyway, I'm working today, in fact the car pool will be here any minute.
- But you could take this one day off. Just you and I on the beach...
But Myrhna frowned on it all.
- Have you checked the weatherforcast?
No, Albert had not checked the weather at all. The rain poured down from endless clouds.
Myrhna ran off to work, and Albert, having a couple days off from his job, was stuck to tidying up the house.
- Ugly bugly! This was not exactly my plan for the day.
Then he heard Hui crying from the nursery.
- My lovely little bundle of great ugliness! Promise dad to grow up to the most ugly person ever living in Sunset Valley!
- Rheeeuuuu
- The we have a deal, son! Make your mom scream with fear on your upcoming birthday!
