Charlotta Mu. Crumpleton

So, I'm out of town for a few weeks, and while not accessing my game, I thought why not introduce one of the two new Region 12 Councilors? You already met Charlotta Crumpleton in my As Sims Go By video series (season 3), but only in the background. Next episode (#3) she will be a lot more in focus as she leads the Science and Education Dept., and will discover a remarkable, long gone event involving Landgraab Science Lab. The episode will also give you (my take on) the truth about Johnny Zest.

Her full name is Charlotta Murderia Crumpleton. She is Head of House of Crumpleton, has turned 60 and married the 16 years younger Gunther (Munch) Crumpleton from Windenburg. They have twin sons Markus Christo and Martus Milton (8) and two cats. Both sons will of course be signed up with a private high school, but it's probable too early even telling what their likes and talents are. According to Charlotta's Head of House certificate, this house is meant to focus on painting and the Interstellar Smuggler branch of the Astronaut career, but nothing is written in stone.

House of Crumpleton generally focused on trades and investments, but there was also room for creativity - especially when related to communication and painting.

Charlotta grew up at Upperton in Gloomville (aka Willow Creek). Villa Crumpleton, where she still resides, was built by her father's tribe, House of Crumpleton (founded Year 144). They ran a successful (yet slightly shady) timber business for generations, and built power as they also became quite unpopular, especially with locals of this district's middle hood, Willow Field. Charlotta's late father, Martus Chriso Crumpleton, was also a Councilor (Year 195-205, Trades & Taxes) including having the Mayor Office for one period. Her mother, the highly respected but shy Journalist, Wilma Fionella (Brixerwoood) Crumpleton died few years ago.

Charlotta's brother is the current Region 12 Mayor, Charloman Au. (Crumpleton) Dougham. This is the first time that two siblings are on the Council. A fun fact is they are both loners who prefer working alone in their offices, rather than attending meetings and larger groups of people. Because of this the Council meetings often get rather tense - and short.

The House of Brixerwood, which Charlotta's mother hailed from, had the Gloom Barony until Y168. There is also a link only 4 generations back to House de Froux, namely King Baltazar II of Sim Nation. Although the entire Brixerwood house died out, Villa Crumpleton is decorated with a couple old portraits from the end of that era. Wilma's father had the courtesy title Lord (from his father, Baron of Gloom), but died too early to inherit the barony. Wilma was married already, and no longer used the Brixerwood family name. To become head of a House you will need to be blood line, and to bring on the family name, obviously.

House of Crumpleton is quite wealthy, but not worthy of a golden Coat of Arms symbol, which requires a total net worth of minimum §1 000 000. Their biggest assets are some stocks and of course Villa Crumpleton. Of smaller possessions the Brixerwood Blossom Broch is quite interesting, although it is not very old. Paintings are of Charlotta's parents and only one is a medium masterpiece - the much older bedside portraits are not considered of high value outside the house.

Charlotta works with Business management, but the family company trading timber was closed down. She likes to knit and never turns down a good old debate, although she prefers the research part. She is member of the RIGHT Party Core Group, and works for Juiced Community. She was elected only 2 years ago, but she is still young enough to reach a couple more elections, if that is what she fancy. I suspect that she will find Councilor work too tense, though, but time will tell.
