And the Bride is Amalia Ellice Luxe-Hamper Hoffstar!

(Year 230, Summer) Social Season is on, and traditionally Summer is the time for weddings - at least for high society it is! This is based on the old times when Fall was the better time for people to switch homes, and nobody moved together until they were married. Workers were often busy with harvesting in Fall, so even for them Summer was a good time *if* they could afford a celebration. These days weddings are of course less tied to rules like these, but fact is that most ties are knot in Summer, still.

However, most of society was taken by surprise when recently grown up Amalia Ellice Luxe-Hamper Hoffstar (29) announced her engagement with Robbiam de Buttercups (42)! She moved to Tartosa last year to stay at Villa Vigna, that is owned by the Mazaloom Royal Trust, and Robbiam still had base at his father's home in Tartosa, where his older brother Jackton with family has taken over.

However, these two knew each other even before Amalia Allice moved to Tartosa, as Robbiam has worked as Gardener at the royal palace in Del Sol Valley, where the bride was raised by TRH King Tarriot and Queen Venezia. The king is the bride's older half brother, who became her caretaker when she lost both parents at young age. Still, she was never seen as an official member of the royal family, and she is not even a member of House de Luxe-Hamper. She has a terrible temper and it's no secret that she had bad influence on the slightly younger royal children as they all grew up together, but the reason she is not of their House, is simply due to old rules: She doesn't descend from a former Head of the House of Luxe-Hamper. To pay her justice King Tarriot has promised her a Peerage, but according to routine she must first establish her own House, which again requires one legit heir already being born.

Amalia Ellice was wed by her father-in-law, Priest Christoph de Buttercups.

Amalia Ellice did not seem pregnant during the ceremony at the Tartosa Chapel. She is not a religious person, but when your father-in-law is the Priest of the local church, you simply can't insist on rather throwing a quick beach party or a dull ceremony at Hotel Oceana, which obviously would have been her first choice.

The little chapel was full (although not packed), including King Tarriot and Queen Venezia, who both actually hail fromold Tartosian houses. Also Prince Cecil (15) was seen in the church, but left before the group photo session.

The currently ongoing controversies involving Amalia Ellice and the Nectar maker family Laurent, has been solved temporarily. Hilary and Hector Laurent were in the chapel (seen 2 rows behind the Queen), but not on the guest list for the following events.

Then there was a group photo before the party had some food at the chapel restaurant.

The newly wed couple intend to stay at Villa Vigna for now. Perhaps Robbiam will be able to prevent the bigger controversies with the Nectar makers?
