Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Greetings from the Stone Family (at home)

A step out of the box today. My Stone family were thrilled to find the picture seen below. Sarah Stone (right), partner Alexander Meshram, and teen son John Stone (left). Posing at a square in Nordhaven was more than they could dream of.

- We reside at Spice Market in San Myshunio, Sarah explains. - We are quite poor, and would never afford 3 tickets up north to Nordhaven. Airplane would be out of the question, so we would need to go by buss via Magnolia Promenade, Brightchester, Henford, Newcrest, and Windenburg to reach Nordhaven. That would sum up to quite a bit, so we are not likely to travel this far, making it nice seeing this "postcard" from a travel that we can only dream of.

Sarah makes a small income from collecting and selling posters and globes at the local market, and John is an Athlete, but due to his age he isn't as active as before.

- Our income just about covers the flat rent, and we just paid school money for our twin daughter Fiona, who studies at the Military boarding school in StrangerVille. John wanted to go there, too, but they had to toss a coin to pick the lucky one.

No wonder they were amazad by seeing the fictional photo showing their little San Myshuno situated family posing in Nordhaven!

Sarah Stone is among the very first sims created for my TS4 game more than ten RL years ago! She then rented a small house at Muggerdale in Glomville, sharing with her friend Lona Despond, but later moved to San Myshuno.

I think the new TS4 start screen is a nice touch and upgrade, and this is meant more like a fun comment than a complaint, but I would like it even more if the backphoto displayed the hood, or at least the world, where the household actually resides. It would add some realism, no matter whether the household could afford those tickets or not. Just because we get a new world, doesn't mean all existing households will ever visit, and we will keep playing families elsewhere in our TS4 universe. It would mean less internal advertising for new content, and also some reprogramming, but in the long run I hope EA will look into such changes. I guess many simmers do like I do, with a new world mainly playing households living in that world for a short while, then eventually bringing the new features out to the other worlds.

Finally, an updated map showing how my sims can ravel - including Nordhaven  up there in the north.
