Mazaloom Media

(Year 234, Fall) Some residents are more into marketing than others. While most of us are happy with as little publicity as possible, most Movie stars, Musicians and Authors want their face on the wall to sell their name and perhaps also their latest product. So where do they go to arrange this extra marketing?

A company named Mazaloom Media has moved into the 2nd story of Gallery Ex-Po in Newcrest. There their Manager, Mrs Cassandra G. Mux-Raisser, has her office, a creative lab, and not to forget the show rooms where customers can explore already created designs, as well as find some inspiration.

Cassandra is rather new in her job, but she already enjoys her new role. She likes the challenge of matching the different celebrities with the different products and designs. Judith Ward is a costumer, and so is singer Olla Jones. But there are many more, including the Royal Palace Office.

- We provide a broad variety of products that are perfect for advertising or brand building, says Cassandra, previously known as Cassandra Goth, but now married and residing in Ravenwood with husband and children. - The posters are most popular, but we also have sofa pillows, collection fan cards and framed portraits, to mention a few popular items.

The collection cards, pictured below, are well established. They are mass produced in a smaller version than on this picture, and are popular among fans. Perfect on any corkboard!

- The throw pillows are new. So far we produced them with logo print, and for a few celebrities with fan photo prints, popular with the celebrities themselves, and with fans.

And then we walk into a room packed with small framed portraits.

- In this room every House of aristocracy has minimum one shelf. Some photos show just one person, while others might show a small group. Those involved, and maybe relatives as well, might want to buy a copy. They can come here to check what motifs are available, and as some of them are members of a House, the shelf system makes it easier to look in the right place.

Anyone can order a framed photo with a portrait, we serve aristocracy, celebrities and royals, but also ordinary people. There is a new restriction though, that you are either head of the House or have a central position in community, or you are related to minimum 2 other households. This was needed to avoid motifs that are not requested by anyone but the one person that is portrayed.

 

Some products from the catalog prove more popular than others. The poster showing Noldus the Clown was torn away as soon as it decorated public walls - everyone wanted to secure a copy. It will never again be produced, but it exists in many collections.

- We also cooperate with companies like Plumbob Pictures, Simmerville Studio, Moon Books and the political parties. They get their own poster routine, but they also have reserved slots on the wazzup city board. Now that we get closer to the Year 235 Election, we are busy helping the parties advertising their campaign.

Mazaloom Media also publishes books and produce commercials. Soon they will also offer t-shirts and caps. Cassandra states that she is not the creative factor in this all, she mainly organize it all. Others will create the designs, but the manager is normally involved in the early process, though. That's when the ideas are discussed, big and small.
