Else Cracrow honored

(Year 234, Summer) Yesterday was a big day for elderly Else Cracrow (75). She was given the Crafthole Medal of Honor for her tireless work for and deep engagement with the 4 crows of Ravenwood.

Else Cracrow with her new medal. District Mayor, Mr Shiftoplh Heighwood
on the right, and Elsa's husband Mortimer Goth to the left.

There was a local ceremony at the Town Hall where Else and her recent husband, Mortimer, were treated with tea and sandwiches.

The Cracrow household tended to the local crows for generations, and Else did already hand over the duty to her son, Shifter, who is about to take over the house. The medal places her in exclusive company, as the medal has not been given to anyone for 68 years! Back then the honoree was the Count of Crafthole!

- It's fine that they brought the old medal tradition up again, Else said, - So many fine residents in our lovely Ravenwood, I'm sure there are severals deserving this medal more than I do.

It was last year that Else married her 2nd husband, Mortimer. He was a divorced widower, and they chose to keep their family names. Mortimer left the Goth House in Copperdale with his son Alexander, at least for now. He also have 2 daughters, including one residing here in Ravenwood. Else has a daughter, too, Fehla C. Alto, working as an Actress in Del Sol Valley.

And the crows? You can read more about them here: Historical Guide to (my) Ravenwood
