Lady de Sür-Blyth married

 (Brindleton Y225) Elvira Leonora de Sür-Blyth (41), also known as Lady de Sür-Blyth, finally married! After a full year long engagement to Hugo Villareal (31), they are now husband and wife.

The wedding ceremony took place at Club Calico, and it was a sweet, although small, event.

Elvira's uncle and aunt, the Duke and Duchess de Cavalier were among the guests, and so was Hugo's sister Luna Villareal. It was reported that Duchess Claudine hardly shared a single word with Luna, and we know they probably worry that their main heir, Baron Charlopold, shall build a serious relation with Luna. They already disapproved on such a relation as the future duke should not marry a commoner.

Elvira, the bride, is a low nobility Lady, it's commonly known that she struggles a bit financially, despite running a rather successful farm. She has no siblings and no living parents. The Sür-Blyth peerage that she inherited from her father, is among the gender neutral peerages. However, Hugo will not gain a Lord title, at least not formally. In fact, he will have no title at all. In some circles he might be referred to as Lord Elvira de Sür-Blyth.

Hugo grew up at the Von Windenburg Estate, rented by his parents, and moved to work at the Sür-Blyth farm in his late teenage years. Now the two will focus on running the farm together, which include breeding pigs and running certain off-the-record scientific projects for improving crops.

Two new farmer boys have moved into the barn to assist on the hard and dirty farm work, that Hugo of course is no longer involved with.

So, can we expect a pregnancy to be announced sometime soon? Well, Elvira might prefer to wait a  little, as there is said to be a curse following births of this family. More about that later!
