(Year 225) Every year the New Dimension Day (commonly referred to as «Dim Day») is celebrated on 2nd Sunday of Fall. There is normally a community gathering in each district, perhaps including a speech by a Councilor or nobility person. This year was no exception, as a totally new project was introduced!
The Horticultural Society, in cooperation with Region 12's high nobility, this year ran a very symbolic event where each district gets a line up of 5 plant boxes, each representing one district, but in the local district's traditional color.
Each district then will grow their signature crop in these boxes, symbolizing growth, friendship and traditions.
This morning nobility from all five districts were present at Gloom Garden in Gloomville, where Gloomville's plants will be located. All of them, including 3 Dukes, planted one box each. Gloomville's signature crop is the Mushroom, perhaps not as spectacular as a blooming tree, but with a strong tie to the local residents. Anyone needing Mushrooms to plant in their own garden, are welcome to harvest here. These plants are easy to find anywhere in Gloomville, though.
Pictured above is the highest nobility of Gloomville, Baron Gloom (Bud von Kaching) planting the third box. Behind the first box we see Duke Victus of Meadows from San Myshuno. Behind the second stands Duke Aquess de Cavalier from Brindleton Bay.
Next is Baron Auphor of Verde from Oasis Springs, and finally Corinne Dougham, Lady Crestville from Newcrest. The real nobility of Newcrest expired many years ago, and Lady Crestville is currently the only one at least having a noble title in that district.
