(Year 229) At today's press conference at royal estate Chateau Peak, His Royal Majesty King Tarriot announced that House of Luxe Hamper is formally splitting. The Tartosa branch will now be known as House de Luminosa.
Castello Tredony was built 200 years ago by House de Luxe-Hamper. |
The old and top notch House of Luxe-Hamper originates from Tartosa in Tredony (Region 3), and held the Tredony County ever since its creation back in Year 3. When King Tarriot's grandfather, King Tybe, accepted the Mazaloom kingdom, he had to give up on his Count title. Tredony county has a District Order, making it high nobility, and rule one of the large peerage is that each house can only hold one high nobility peerage (but unlimited low nobility peerages). Traditionally the Monarch will never hold any Peerage aside of being the head of it all. Although King Tybe was forced to give up the title Count de Tredony, the peerage was still held by close relatives, making House of Luxe-Hamper actually not going by the rules. This did upset some, and it was said that it was possible only because the Monarch was involved. After all he is head of the large peerage.
Left to right: Prince Jerome, Prince Millam, and Prince Ace, all resided at Castello Tredony. |
Today the Tredony peerage is held by Prince Jerome. He got it after his late father, Prince Millam, who was brother of late Queen Evez. This makes Prince Jerome cousin of King Tarriot, but his two sons were born too late to become central members of House of Luxe-Hamper. At the time of their birth their ancestor was no longer head of house. This means the Tartosa family branch is about to get cut off the royal house within next generation, anyway.
The split has been in progress for some time already, and therefore will need no further declaration. It has been approved by The Royal Chamber that Prince Jerome is now first head of the new House de Luminosa. His civil lastname has changed from Luxe-Hamper to Luminosa, but he will continue using the Prince title with no family name. His two sons are granted membership - main heir is now known as Lord Nicham Phillip Luminosa. The norm restricts already born members of a new house to founder and heir apparent, but also youngest son, Lord Millaus Luis is being granted membership to the new House de Limonosa, but without him taking the new family name (this will be up to him when he grows up). However, Prince Jerome's wife, Countess Bequeenie de Tredony is not given any special treatment, and because her husband will rarely use the new family name, she is not changing hers.
An early version of the family's Coat of Arms. Today the white quarters are cream colored. |
The split also includes huge amounts of values, as the Tredony Trust is the owner of both Castillo Tredony and Tartosa Promenade (aka Baia dell'Amore). In addition there are many heirlooms, basically from the original House de Luxe-Hamper, worth the total of more than §700,000. Up to this day the Tredony Trust was owned by House of Luxe-Hamper.
House de Luminosa will continue their existing Coat of Arms, which has red primary color and Cream secondary color, and Prince Jerome already use the sail ship symbol from the Tredony peerage. Their base will still be Castillo Tredony at Porto Luminosa in Tartosa. The new house has been assigned with focus career Secret Agent and focus skill Piano.
