(Year 234, Winter) These days anyone into genealogy will applaud new tools for researching your family tree. As usual, our very own Mazaloom Historical Society was involved making this available to residents of Mazaloom kingdom. With this genealogy as a hobby becomes even more interesting.
Club leader Mila Munch (80) is enthusiastic as always.
- We got a brand new white board system for genealogists, to be used with your research. I personally love this, because it brings your hard work out, placing this board in your office visualizes your progress and it will be easier for you to keep focus. Up to now the charts were typically hidden in a book or on your computer, out of sight when you didn't work on it. With this board your genealogical challenges will have your attention just from walking by the board, consantly dragging you back into your project! And, it should also get more interest from other household members, actually seeing your work.
But the white board is not the only new thing!
We can't wait to see the new tools coming. Will they be available for all?
- Yes, but I predict they might become more popular with Aristocracy where the history of other Houses might matter the more. I heard Mazaloom kingdom will shortly implement the Dynasty term, too, and for Houses looking into that next level of a House, these new tools should be mandatory! I heard rumours about a coming national Dynasty registry, but these things will likely be announced by the Royal Chamber shortly. Historical Society is not directly involved with community structures.
The Historical Society is among our oldest clubs. Can just anyone sign up?
- I wish I could say yes! But, fact is that the club is full, and we have pending members. Anyone into genealogy or local and national history can sign up, but they should expect a few years before getting their full membership. Pending members will get information regarding our bigger events, but not our regular club meetings.
