(Year 235, Spring) In a short press release from House von Kaching this morning, it was stated that the Dowager Baroness died peacefully aged 85 in hospital last night. Her full name was Rose (Welder) von Kaching, she was the spouse of Baron Bud of Gloom, and was widowed three years ago.
Baroness Rose worked actively within the community of painting artists. She ran the Gallery Ex-Po in Newcrest for many years, eventually growing into a full scale heirloom broker, serving aristocracy nation wide. Few years ago she stepped back, leaving the gallery to her son, the current Baron Edward of Gloom.
Less known is the fact that Rose supported the well known portrait painter, Vince Remeréz, in his early years. Not only was he hired to give classes at her gallery, but for several years he also got free accomoddtion with the Gloom estate at Upperton, Gloomville. There are rumors about several Remeréz paintings that he gifted to the house, some even said to be act paintings still kept well hidden from community, but likely worth quite a deal.
