Top 10 announcement event at Moon Books

(Year 235, Spring) This Saturday the annual event for Authors took place at Orchid A Go Go where Moon Books has their book store as well as other fascilities related to literature. This night the fresh Top 10 list based on Year 234 sales was released, and also a couple new Year 235 releases were announced.

Octavia Moon (54) is a global star, known for several well selling novels and other genres, no longer writing lyrics for her husband Thorne Bailey. Moon Books is her heart child, and every Spring she gathers the Authors who signed with Moon Books.

Octavia started announcing the two titles that will be released later this year. First out is Victor Fabe Altham's non-fiction «Looking Back on the old Advorton», to be released this Summer. Then, in Winter, Octavia Moon releases her mystery novel «The Invisible Man».

Then it was time for the Top 10 list based on Year 234 sales! There are generous bonuses paid to all 10 titles, for instance is the title topping the list bringing §10,000 to the Author. So, did any titles from Moon Books place well?

Oh yes, they did! Four titles reached the Top 10 this time. On 10th place, Victor Fabe Altham (54) jumps back in with his Year 233 book «Love in the City of Ciudad Enamorada». He gets a bonus of §1,000. On 6th place is Yasemin Pigulock with her debute short story «Boredom by Numbers», securing a bonus of §4,000.

And then, Octavia Moon herself having a total of 3 titles on the list! Her Year 231 non-fiction «Heroes of Tredony: Portraits from the Future» reached 7th, her mystery novel «Celestial Pillow Fight» placed 5th, and her biography «Olivia» reached 4th! It sums up to a nice bonus of §17,000 for Octavia!

Salim Benali (59)'s poetry book «Moo - Daydream of a Cow» placed 3rd, and his poetry book «The Old Barn» reached the very top spot! Benali earns himself a total bonus of §18,000! He was the only Author not attending the event, he is a rather private person.

The gathering continued with drinks in the bar and some light entertanment from the stage. Some readings, some music. Such a successful night. Congrats to all winners!
