Lady de Sür-Blyth engaged

Lady Elvira Leonora de Sür-Blyth (40) is not living a very public society life. Her low nobility house, Sür-Blyth Farm, focuses a lot more on raising pigs combined with agricultural science, than red carpets and diadems.

She lived alone and worked real hard, and it’s great news that she is engaged, finally!

Her fiancé, Hugo Villareal (30), came to the Sür-Blyth Farm 3 years ago. He is son of the recently deceased Jaques Villareal, and grew up at Von Windenburg Estate which his parents rented since Year 190. Hugo is the 2nd oldest of 3 siblings, but the Villareals have no rights to the Von Windenburg Estate, especially not now that the Duke von Windenburg is back.

Lady Elvira is the only child of the former Lord, Edward August de Sür-Blyth. This peerage accepts successors to be either male or female. Lady Elvira’s mother was Lady Arléna Marina, late sister of the current Duke Aquess de Cavalier at the Chateau Cavalier near by. There is an old family curse, suggesting that Lady Elvira should avoid giving birth to girls. Let’s save that story for whenever she gets pregnant. First - the wedding next Spring!

Elvira has been running the Sür-Blyth Farm all alone ever since she took over when her father died when she was still in her late teens. They normally hire a couple young live-in farmers, which is also seen as an education on High School level for future farmers. Hugo Villareal moved to the farm as such a student, but after growing up he has been seen spending more and more time with Lady de Sür-Blyth, aside of the farm work.
