Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

N.A.P. voting closed - the results are in!

(Current Year 224) Region 12 has a political system with elections every 5 years. The year before the main election, where the 5 Councilors are found, there is a Neighborhood Action Plan voting. Each hood removes their oldest plan (each plan is on for 15 years), and then votes for a new plan to fill that spot. This might make no big difference, or it can get very exciting as these the valid N.A.P.s actually have an effect on the upcoming Council voting!

Each plan represents one of my three political parties, and the party with more active N.A.P.s in a district, becomes that district's dominant party. A dominant party will pick one of their N.A.P.s to be the 4th plan for all hoods in the district. On the Council election candidates will get some bonus votes if representing the dominant party! You could read about these details on this blog previously.

Well, tonight it's time to check the results, and to many hopeful candidates, it might make a huge difference whether they get those bonus votes or not.

Let's start in San Myshuno. This city has been dominated by the LEFT party, rooting for labor, workers and welfare. Water Conservation was their main N.A.P.  Their running N.A.P. in Fashion District expired this year, and they will need to win in minimum 2 hoods to stay dominant.

In Arts Quarter the RIGHT party won (Juiced Community), and RIGHT also won in Fashion District (Fun-loving Community)! With this it looks like LEFT will lose to RIGHT, as RIGHT has 6 pans and LEFT only 4. But there are 3 more hoods to check: In Uptown RIGHT won (Tech Support) - no big surprise as RIGHT always was strong in Uptown. It's now 7 to 4, with just 2 hoods to go, and RIGHT has this voting in their pocket! At Spice Market LEFT won (Back to the old days), and at Magnolia Promenade MIDDLE had their expired plan reactivated (Eco-friendly Appliances).

San Myshuno results:

RIGHT: 7
LEFT: 5
MIDDLE: 3

The Gloomville district had a RIGHT domination for the last period, but is also known as a RIGHT district since quite some time. LEFT must see 2 of their 3 N.A.P.s expire, while the 3rd plan to expire is from the MIDDLE party, meaning RIGHT has already a huge benefit. No big changes is expected for this election, and despite the awakening of Evergreen Harbor, which is located on Gloomville's outskirts and counts as a Gloomville hood, Evergreen Harbor will not affect Gloomville's politics this year (but most likely will in 5 years).

At Upperton, the district's strongest RIGHT hood, Right won (Tech Support). At Willow Field MIDDLE had their expired plan re-voted (Green Gardening), and at Muggerdale LEFT won (Back to the old days). This means each party won one N.A.P. each, and RIGHT keeps their district domination.

Gloomville results:

RIGHT: 4
MIDDLE: 3
LEFT: 2

We're heading over to Oasis Springs, dominated by the MIDDLE party, but will that stay? It looks promising as none of MIDDLE's 3 active plans expire this year. Instead LEFT loses two and RIGHT one. Let's check the 3 hoods (also StrangerVille is administraded by Oasis Springs, but is not included in the N.A.P. program.

At Verde, the upper class hood that traditionally embraced the RIGHT party, LEFT surprisingly won the new plan (Power Conservation). This means Verde will have no plan from the RIGHT party for the coming 5 years period! LEFT also wins at Dusty Turf  (Back to the old days), and before the final hood it's now 3-3 between MIDDLE and LEFT! Who will it be? Well, LEFT won at Nookstone, too (Water Conservation)! This will clearly mean goodbye to MIDDLE as LEFT becomes Oasis Springs' dominant party.

Oasis Springs results:

LEFT: 4
MIDDLE: 3
RIGHT: 2

Newcrest has been dominated by the RIGHT party, but will it last? 2 of RIGHT's plans expire now, and one of MIDDLE's. This means LEFT has already 3 active plans, before this election.

At Old Crest LEFT won their 4th plan (Water Conservation). At Crestville RIGHT wins the plan (Clean Energy Production). LEFT has this in the bag already with one hood to go! At Rivercrest it's a MIDDLE win (Promote Creative Arts). This all means that LEFT is the new dominant party of Newcrest!

Newcrest results:

LEFT: 4
MIDDLE: 3
RIGHT: 2

Now, over to Brindleton Bay. This district was dominated by the MIDDLE party, and seeing that they lost no plan this year, MIDDLE will be strong also for the next 5 years period. LEFT will need 2 wins and RIGHT must win all 3 hoods to overshadow MIDDLE. Let's see...

At Whiskerman's Wharf MIDDLE got their 4th plan (Self-sufficiency) and has it in the bag already. At Sable Square LEFT won the plan (Back to the old days), and at Cavalier Cove RIGHT won the new plan (Juiced Community). The total of this N.A.P. election is that MIDDLE stays as the dominant party of Brindleton Bay.

Brindleton Bay results:

MIDDLE: 4
LEFT: 3
RIGHT: 2

And this completes the Region 12 N.A.P. voting. The political mix has changed a little compared to previous period, as MIDDLE lost one district to LEFT. There are also new dominating parties in San Myshuno, Oasis Springs and Newcrest, while Gloomville and Brindleton Bay are unchanged.

The LEFT party is now the biggest party, dominating Oasis Springs and Newcrest, but also quite strong at San Myshuno's Spice Market. They are also in with one plan in each of Brindleton Bay's hoods.

The RIGHT party is now the dominating party of San Myshuno and Gloomville.

The MIDDLE party is dominating party only in Brindleton Bay, but are well represented in Gloomville, Oasis Springs and Newcrest.

Over the next days each of the three parties will consider what to be their dominant N.A.P. in districts that they dominate. Normally this will be their most popular plan, but they are free to adjust. When one of the 3 voted plans become the dominant plan, the voted slot will get another plan from that party, which can be based on the party's wider strategy.

The dominant party's candidates for the Council election will normally get some extra support and votes. For the upcoming election this will benefit Abhrin Wusha, Rob Wilder, Edvin Phlum, Otto Vittingham and Cato Wugger (all San Myshuno). Charlotta Mu. Crumpleton (Gloomville), Josue Rosewood and Sergio Morck (Oasis Springs), Rita Sufferville and Agathe S. Jupiter (Newcrest), and Miranda Mox (Brindleton Bay).

If all districts choose their Coucilor according to their dominant party, the next Council shall consist of 2 RIGHT, 2 LEFT and 1 MIDDLE. In a few simdays we will know how this affects the Councilor election! Expect a few more articles focusing on the upcoming event!
