Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Gossips #6

(Year 230, Spring) Her is Antoinette Morck with more gossips from around the kingdom (and beyond)!

- Are you ready for some gossips? So much is going on right now! Spring is to be replaced by Summer, but the royal palace still did not announce the line-up for this year's Investiture Day - where nobles get their medals and knighthood. That announcement is traditionally made within end of Spring. And - there are several weddings coming this Summer, but we might need to get back to some of those events in my next issue.

So, let's start in the showbiz community, Del Sol Valley!

The Starlight Accolades (TSA) is complaining once again! Ever since high nobility started focusing on their public popularity, the award events changed dramatically. Half the attendees will typically be dukes and duchesses, lately also counts and their countesses. The royal family did not attend the ceremony yet, but it is probably only a matter of time.

Front: Countess Annette of Advorton did not win any award this time.

TSA now claims that Culture & Entertainment dept. must handle the problem, allowing for entertainers and artists to celebrate themselves without the nobles arriving in their gala outfits to claim half the awards. Leader of the Culture & Entertainment dept., Anaya Jang, promises to look into the problem, but also says it might be a challenge that this obviously is a Law & Justice case, as nobility is not at all seen as entertainment.

Meanwhile, numerous nominees don't even bother to attend the event hosted by TSA.

One of them is the famous Thorne Bailey (50). Last night he protested by taking a nap at the doorstep.

Not really connected to the Accolades, jazz singer Olivia Clump (77) seems to boost her popularity these days.

Last night she was showing off outside the Plumbob Studio, writing autographs and posing for fans. Olivia Clump made a successful comeback shortly after turning elderly, and she is currently seen as a Panel member on the weekly TV-show «The Bagged Talent», produced by Simmerville Studio. She is also releasing a new track next week.

Talking about «The Bagged Talent», there are many rumors about who hide inside those paper bags. One of the hotter rumors is the character Long Gone being Prince Ace (53)!

He resides in Del Sol Valley and is a member of the royal house, and some even think the Queen is currently trying to match Prince Ace with Crown Princess Emireza! The age gap might be a catch, although Prince Ace still looks young for his age. He has not yet commented on the ongoing Long Gone rumor.

Simmerville Studio is located in Gloomeville, so let's go there for more «The Bagged Talent» stuff.

Long Gone and The Alien singing a romantic duet.

Did you know that there were plans of a lot more singing as the show was originally named The Bagged Singer? Duets were even recorded, but then the producer ran into copyright issues, and it was safer (and cheaper) focusing on various skills instead.

If you follow the show you probably already know who were unbagged and kicked out this far. And if not, you probably don't mind spoilers at all...

When Judith Ward (66) had to leave the show, the other contenders wanted to wave her off, but the global star was obviously offended. Wearing a red swimsuit she ignored them all and walked slowly out of the studio without bidding anyone a goodbye. Rumors have it that Ward tried her best to win the show, and that her very poor singing was not being an act at all, but that she actually is shockingly bad at singing. I'm still trying to get hold of some Ward family news for you, I even intend to contact the Windenburg clinic to find out why one of the twins she had last year died shortly after birth. I'll hopefully have some gossips for you in my next issue!

Over at Rivercrest in Newcrest is where Olivia Clump resides. Her son, Garvin Clump (44) is currently seen as head of the household, but some says Olivia refuses to let go on all accounts. In the past they had some financial problems, which Olivia has been very open about.

Garvin's wife, Venessa Jeong (42), is tryng to build an Actress career, but as long as her mother-in-law is around, Venessa  must accept being overshadowed by the elderly jazz singer. There were a few conflicts already, and some say those conflicts is the reason why Venessa stopped having children after their first born son (Jason, 10).

Today's royal gossips come not from the royal palace in Del Sol Valley, but Dresden in Windenburg!

A student at Summerfield High boarding school sent me this snap of Crown Princess Emireza (19) practicing her ballet skills. We knew Dancing is on their schedule, after all most students at this finer high school are the future duchess and princes - and a queen - they ought to know how to waltz, and how to behave in general. The Crown Princess already had her gala dinner debut, but she is only half way through her high school studies. Meanwhile, we have learned that her mother, Queen Venezia, has started the hunt for a future Prince Consort.

Manager of Summerfield High is obviously a great fan of the royal family.

Mrs Hettie P. Fartingham (50) has been running her late husband's boarding school for a few decades already, which obviously gets her closer to those noble circles. Fartingham (she has never revealed her maiden name) is not of noble family herself, but is known for keeping up appearance through her Principal position.

And now for the big news!

This Spring Hettie P. Fartingham did marry Politician Ingar Wunderberg (64). He is from Windenburg, and is currently having a seat at The People Chamber for the RIGHT party. They had a small ceremony at the Cathedral of Similius where they got wed by High Priest Ansgar Profedius. No change of surname was reported - is it their high age that makes them continue without changes? Or is it just too early?

These gossips are not meant to include our neighboring nations, the Empire of Snorthia or the Kingdom of Sea. We have plenty of news within our own nation, Kingdom of Mazaloom. Even so, today I just wanted to share a tiny newsflash from Sulani, which is a popular vacation destination to many of us, located in kingdom of Sea.

Reports do state that King Salomar of Sea has been visiting Sulani on several occasions. Last week he even brought his queen Medaka and their two young adult sons, Crown Prince Longjav and Prince Weever.

As you can tell from the picture above, the locals don't seem to honor the royal family in any way, and that is basically because they grew up honoring each district's own Chieftain. This tradition goes generations back, and still stands strong despites the old system expiring a decade ago. Sulani currently has no Chieftain, and youth growing up is less focused on the old community hierarchy

From left: Crown Prince Longjav (33), Queen Medaka (62), King Salomar (69) and Prince Weever (30).

King Salomar is also head of the old House of Oceanus, and they descend from the merfolk. The Sea kingdom covers Sulani, so it would perhaps be time for the royal family to build some popularity? This kingdom is much smaller than both Mazaloom and Snorthia, with less fuss and glamor, and there are no nobles except the descendants of the last Chieftains. The royal estate is not in Sulani and the royals don't really travel about much.

I'll be back with more gossips in less than a month!
