(Year 232, Winter) What if you could visit a good toy store to buy toys and skill items for your child? Well, in Mazaloom this seems rather complicated at the moment. In fact, you will hardly find any stores aimed towards babies or children at all. Baby expert Heidi L. Wooblershield (52) had enough!
- This is nothing but sad! They used to have a decent corner here at the Old Salt House in San Myshuno, but look at it now! It looks like an abandoned storage room that you entered by mistake!
Heidi knows how important toys are to a child growing up, as she raised 4 of them.
The oldest is now 22, while Maria just turned 9. 3 boys and 1 girl.
- Children come with each their personality. They have unique interests from early on, and by giving them a relevant toy might make a huge difference in helping them building their talents. A good toy store must offer more than a handful toys to choose from!
At Old Salt House Mall she shows us what is the current situation. The offer includes only 7 toys, and they are not even displayed in an appealing way. Even worse, a destroyed dolls house is not exactly adding to a good shopping mood.
- A good toy store should appeal to both the child and the parent. I wish I could bring Maria to pick her next toy, but no, this place would probably harm her mental development instead of encouraging. The owner of Old Salt House Mall, Mrs Claudia Tangerin Mester Shine (78), was not available for comments. She just referred to the fact that a mall serves so many customers and different product groups. Jewelry and travel agency is what attracts more customers these days.
- It's all about money! Money, money, money! Is our children less worth than jewelry? Heidi asks. - I'm not a politician, but my hubby is in fact. It is on time that our politicians address this issue. We need better guidelines for the retail business, and their improved focus needs to involve our children!

Minister of the Trades & Taxes dept.,
Mrs Fanny Silverbone (72), says that People Chamber has already been working on guidelines for retail, but the Regional Reform Y233 forced them to pause the debate. The idea is to spread certain offers on the regions, but they had to wait for the new borders to take effect. That will happen when we cross this New Years' Eve. In the coming year all this will be much clearer, and the focus on both the content of he regional Recreation Centers and the commercial use of community lots will get back on track.
