The Ugly Wickerwood - Chapter 2

Another ugly day in the life of Albert Wickerwood! This is both an uglacy and a wishancy, so while his lack of beauty can't be done much with, his wishes will be locked to secure there are always 4 locked. This morning those wishes are Visit Shang Simla (China), Buy a Telescope, Group up with Cycl0n3 Sw0rd, and Learn Martial Arts Skill.

I forgot to mention that Alberts Lifetime Wish is to become a Martial Arts Master, so it looks like he will be going to China sometime soon! But shouldn't he first meeet his ugly wife that is supposed to be somewhere right here in Sunset Valley?

The couple next days went like a wind. He were desperately seeking his ugly dream woman, but she was nowhere to be found.

The Ugly Wickerwood - chapter 1 - NEW Uglicy-Wishanary Story

Hello all, and Happy Holidays!

Going abroad for a longer period, with a shaky internet connection, I just installed a few of my TS3 games to my laptop, and will unwind a little by running a short legacy-uglacy-wishacy :) Only base game, World Adventures and Seasons installed. I'd like to add more EPs, but I think this should give enough variety for this little prosject. And I will find out how it plays on my average laptop with no extra cards etc. Picture quality will reflect a lacking videocard, for sure.

This project will be updated every other day for at least 10 chapters. Hang on if you like :)

Long break - but will be back!

Wow, it's been that long? You might wonder if this blog will ever get updated again, and it definitely will! I just had a busy time, actually trying to make a living from writing stories. Because I don't make any money from this blog, it had to get low priority.

Hope Terra - (s2) - chapter 12: The purple ring

Life on Hope Terra goes on. Updates will obviously no longer match those dates ending with a fat, orange zero, but there will still be 2 or 3 updates per month.

Well, this far 2 of Hope's 4 children grew up and married! And in this chapter it might be Animere's turn, if she managed to escape the waters after the darkhaired merman tipped her boat.

Aquid Merez, the oldest, got the main house, and his wife Clemmensa recently gave birth to a son, Almus Merez. Clemmensa is the current holder of the orange ring!

Out there is the ocean, lives Aquid's brother, Davitor, who married to Ocina Tushell, who holds the blue ring. They had no children yet.

Aquid loves tending their garden, but these days are getting colder, and he thinks there might be another period with freezing temperatures coming up.

Hope Terra (s2) - chapter 11: Underwater news

Now that both the boys married, the girls Animere and Shimmerita are still just teen, not really having any grand plans for where to move once they find a merman...

One night Hope finds Animere alone outside the fence. She looks depressed, and Hope guesses it's because of her upcoming birthday. Animere is about to become a young adult!

Hope always had a weak spot for Animere, she is the only one with no scales on her legs, not really looking to live like a mermaid at all. She doesn't even eat Kelp.  Hope tells her that she wants Animere to take her late father's lastname, Klinge. Animere is successful enough to claim her future husband to take her name. Only if she marries a wealthy merman with one of the most important rings, there might be trouble concerning the name.

Looking back

I've played The Sims 1, The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. I enjoyed them all, but I must confess that I keep returning to the 3rd edition.

Stumbling upon a good few promotional items at zazzle.com made me both warm and nostalgic.

Hope Terra: Skipping the July 30th update

Just a quick note. Because the Gloomville Diaries season closing chapter was delayed and released July 18th, it would be too quick for another major update only two days later. So, there was no Hope Terra update on July 20th. And, due to my own vacation out of town, this also affected the July 30th update. Sorry for this, but I feel it will be better to wait for August 10th than to rush short and hasty updates.

Gloomville Diaries - gen 1 - ch 38: Passing it on

Ochana already told Edith that she will need to marry one of the neighbours, and Miranda will need to settle outside Gloomville. They were both upset, but things might sort out, somehow?

Ochana was in a hurry to complete her volume of Gloomville Diaries. The old computer that she secretly uses in the attic, broke down. She had to see Ella Hikes. Ella is a tech freak, and she resides across the street together with her brother Adrian.

Ochana got a surprise when walking inside their house. Edith was there talking with Adrian Hikes! Adrian is one out of two single men, and Edith was obviously checking out the goods. Adrian is more or less Ochana's age, though...

Hope Terra - (s2) chapter 10: Expanding on the rocks

Aquid and Clammensa married, and now they are pregnant! Hope is very excited, although they will soon run out of space.

Hope Terra is quite tiny, and the little house takes up most of the area already. In addition they can grow some food, and there is a small field where they gather for meetings occasionally, called Court Garden. And then there are two small beaches. That's all.

One night the second oldest of the boys, Davitor, tells Hope that he has fallen in love with a mermaid!

Gloomville Diaries - gen 1 - ch 37: Heirs informed

A few days ago Edith and Miranda grew up and Ochana could finally pick the Main Heir (Edith) and Secondary Heir (Miranda). But they had still not been thoroughly informed about the Secret Mission.

This morning Ochana decided to send her test book to a publisher, and while checking the mailbox he was surprised to find some bills in there! They had not received bills in years, she actually thought they would never again get a bill.

- Ouch, §2.050! she screamed, as she realized that they would need to sell off some apples to meet that sum! Edith would get a tough start to her adult life, and being in charge of the household.

Gloomville Diaries - gen 1 - ch 36: Birthday party

Ochana reread the Secret Mission's Rules and Directions, and the further process was getting clearer. On Edith and Miranda's young adult birthday, she would have to pick the Main Heir as well as the Secondary Heir. And she had decided who that will be!

Ochana was a little relieved that the Secret Mission itself won't be passed on until the day before Main Heir's wedding. It would simply give here some more time to complete her book.

Instead she found herself busy planning the upcoming birthday party, a picnic.

When she checked out a nearby town, Newcrest, she ran into Willow Field neighbour, Zilla Brox.

Hope Terra - (s2) chapter 9: The question about space

Welcome back to Hope Terra! :)  This is where Season 2 begins. If you missed the first season, please check it out here. Many facts won't be repeated in detail.

Hope Terra is the tiny island where mermaid Hope Merez climbed onto firm land, to live together with the human Sailor Rasmus Klinge. They had four children, then Rasmus disappeared on sea. Hope's father would love to see his grandchildren grow up, because the Mersea group of the Mer People could benefit from climbing onto land, by marrying those four. It might be the only way for the Mersea Group to avoid the horrible toxics that spreads on the sea ground.

Hope and here teenagers have upgraded the house further.

They built walls and fences to protect themselves from the evil Mudder Group - those black Mer People that did bad things to the Mersea group in the past. Hope can feel that something bad will happen, but shouldn't they feel safe on land?
